OoT is an all time great. while this may sound ridiculous today when it released hyrule field was an unprecedented level of freedom. its narrative was among the most fleshed out experiences of all time. the ost still holds as one of the best eve made. the combat was peak for what 3d combat could be.

this game pushed not only the franchise forward but the entire industry. its one of those rare moments when something comes along it redefines what the standard of excellence is going forward.

very few games have ever been in its league for innovation or quality all across the board.
