WWE Friday Night SmackDown March Thread - 3/26/21 feat. WWE forgetting to create a new show preview image

One of the rumors floating around that I don't believe is that Vince got cold feet on doing Roman vs. Edge straight up because Edge's appearance makes him look too old and haggard to believably be in a one on one 20+ minute WM level main event with someone like Roman.

I don't buy it because that would've left Bryan with seemingly no program unless they just did Bryan vs. Jey again which they've already done a bunch on SmackDown. But I also firmly believe this gives them an out to give Edge a "thank you" run via pinning Bryan and they can do Roman/Edge at another show.

Still, it's hilarious to imagine it being true considering he had Edge last an hour in the Rumble.
