Mania just doesn't have the "big match" feel like it did in years past anymore, but that's what happens when you don't create big time players. Taker not being on the show leaves a huge void. And obviously no Rock, Cena, HHH etc... but probably not a bad idea to leave them off. they need to get these new guys over without those guys hogging the card.
Hopefully next year will have a bigger feel and they actually have decent builds going

Also doesn't help that Mania in recent years have just felt too bloated in terms of show length and cards.
Last year had 19 matches split up over two nights while the Manias before it were hitting the 6+ hour marks with the pre-shows included. Even NXT TakeOvers prior to the pandemic were starting to suffer from becoming bloated for show time legnth.
