What do you think about this type of offer to difficult, established stars?
Chapter 12 : The demise of WcW.

In April 1999, Eric Bischoff came up with the idea of a "Jobbing" bonus, to get established talent to put aside their ego and job to help elevate new stars. The first offers made to Hogan were soundly rejected, as Hogan was already getting an enormous salary and the proposed jobbing change, was, and I quote, "That's pocket change Brother!".

Bischoff however did not give up on the idea. Instead, he continued to raise the amount until Hogan agreed. Bischoff hoped the resulting match would elevate the younger star and even though it helped, unfortunately, Hogan was paid the entire WCW budget for the next 10 years, leaving no salary for anyone else.

The idea of the jobbing bonus spread around the lockeroom to give wrestlers other ideas. Kevin Nash famously sat on the face of a member of creative until he was paid an "ass sitting" bonus so that the man could go home. That same writer later sued the company, winning a million dollar lawsuit for having spent 12 hours being sat on by Kevin Nash.

Meanwhile, Bill Goldberg demanded a "spear" bonus where he would be paid an extra $30,000 for every spear he performed in the ring. The result was that creative was forced to minimize the amount of spears Bill Goldberg could do in a match and replace them with lariats, which unfortunately led to Bill Goldberg injuring 12 wrestlers and one referee.
