Varsity Blondes being the #2 ranked team is proof that the rankings don’t work

Evil Uno and Stu Grayson are a great team but have worked only one tag match in 2021 presumably because they don’t want them to job but also don’t want them racking up a bunch or Dark wins/forcing them up the rankings

Rankings weren’t a bad idea for something different but it’s too limiting at this point

Yeah them and NXT holding their PPVs on Saturdays were nice.

At least Tony Khan mentioned AEW PPVs moving to Sundays is more of a case-by-case scenario and not them completely moving away from Saturdays.

May 30 is Memorial Day weekend so no work Monday for lots of ppl at least!

Khan said that All Out and Double or Nothing will likely be on Sundays going forward because they are on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend and most people have off on those Mondays...

And other PPVs will be on Saturday

AEW really needs some serious tweaking to their rankings system.

Nothing wrong with Varsity Blonds managing to climb up the rankings but AEW has failed to follow up on the idea they had at the start of having a weighed system for rankings and wins. Like something as simple as 2 wins on Dark being equal to 1 win on Dynamite would be a big improvement over their current way.

MIRO WINS

TNT title match was a very good hard hitting bout.

Archer vs. Miro as a potential future match for the title sounds sweet.

This week's show was very entertaining overall. Only real weak point was Cody's promo since that was such a bad idea to put it almost right after the Moxley match and would have been much better if it was cut in half for time.

This was a good show. I'm not that hyped for the PPV but it is looking to be pretty solid. I really hope they can sell out Daily's Place.

Moreover this all happened when Miro won the match at 9:59. It literally all happened within a minute.
