A year and a half seems like a long time, but it's a drop in the bucket in the lifespan of a wrestling promotion. I'm not implying it's going to happen anytime soon, as you're completely right that they don't need to change right now, thanks to a loyal fan base. That said, they will eventually have to shake up their way of doing things if they want to survive, let alone grow their audience.

I guess after watching NJPW recover from their cataclysmic mma infusion in the early 00's I can believe any promotion can change for the better. The exception being a case like WWE, where the business side makes such an ungodly amount of money that they can produce content for investors instead of content for wrestling fans.
