Those other gimmicks that you mentioned generated some good crowd responses, and for long periods of time as well. Those gimmicks also existed when very few wrestling fans were smarks. Today's fans don't want to see dumbass gimmicks, and the recent boos that Eugene has gotten show that his gimmick has lost its steam and will die eventually. |
