Based on some early estimates, All Out 2021 did somewhere around 160k to 200k for PPV buys with the higher end looking more likely.
Meltzer mentioned on Twitter that All Out appears to have done roughly double what ECW's best ppv buys were for a non-WWE show. ECW's highest was around 99k for Heatwave 99. Tony Khan mentioned the number was also around what WWE got as an average for their non-Big 4 shows the year before the WWE Network's launch, which was in the 180-190k range. |

The AEW/ECW comparison is so disingenuous, and it’s proof that Meltzer just cannot be trusted on these matters anymore. Even domestic buys in 2021 versus domestic buys in 1999 would be sketchy. But to compare AEW’s international buys in with their domestic? Holy fucking dog-shit, Batman. If AEW did 200k worldwide buys, then about 132k domestic buys is more likely. Which is still enough to “beat” ECW, but the entire market has changed. |
