I think they need to cut back on the long TV matches and let more guys on TV, that might get some new guys over, maybe.
I'm not sure why they do that... after all, RAW five years ago often had six or seven matches. And recently? Two times there've been two matches on one show within the past two months. That's just pathetic, because the matches they do have aren't actually better. They're just "better" with quotes. Oh wow! A commercial break! That instantly makes a match great, right? Sure... that's about as genuine as a cheap pop.

You could easily fill a couple of ten minute tag matches in place of some stupid RAW Rewind or PPV hype or Diva Search or some other stupid segment that does nothing for the general storylines.

I agree that the tag division of 99/00 was amazing, and that's what SD! should vie for. IMO, it's almost easier to do a tag division... you get twice the exposure for the same amount of time! It's such a great deal!

But of course, the writers have tended to lose focus of the overall picture, concentrating on parts at a time. Problem is that if you're not one of those parts being concentrated upon, you're screwed, because you're basically dropped off the show and the planning list.
