Injury might be the best thing honestly if they're going to keep Punk around. Let things cool off, see how things go, keeps open the possibility to turn it into a story if/when Punk can return.

BTW Vito just because you were discrediting Cornette and Brian--was just listening to SRS and he made a point to credit Last for some great reporting (he's doing reporting now) and put him over otherwise as being on top of his shit. I really just listen to specific Corny clips and get not being able to deal with him much, but Last has lots of sources and catches stuff before most. People obviously ignore him because he's Corny's second but I'd trust him over most because he's not a shill.

I've listened to some clips from their show and Brian Last seems pretty reasonable/rational to me. Doesn't have the thing Cornette has where he hates someone for something they did years ago so everything they do is automatically horrible

This is what I hate the most about it. MJF feuding with another guy with serious mic skills in Punk could have taken him to the next level. Now I don't know what they do with his direction. If Kenny wasn't in the situation I could have seen them trying him as champ again and he could have represented the "authority" as EVP and had MJF chasing him. But that wouldn't be 1/10th as interesting as the Punk feud.

Who do you make champ now other than Wardlow that makes sense for a feud with MJF and lets him capitalize on his storyline? Doubt they go Mox again. Or Hangman. Ideally D Bry would be positioned for it but holy shit they've booked him terribly imo. IF they had been booking him strong he'd make a GREAT guy to put MJF over....

Oh man I really hope they don't put Jericho in the spot again.

My dream scenario would end with them putting the strap on PAC and him destroying MJF and the whole stokely crew and then murdering everyone else on the roster on an unprecedented path of destruction.
