Agree but Punk is also injured... gonna need surgery. And could see them being so pissed off that they're not willing to work with each other, even though ideally they would sit down and "squash the beef"

This. The bigger issue is Punk is legit hurt. I think it also works out better in the long run even though they can’t capitalize on the initial controversy.
