hooked is sort of a call back to busted pop where i take the structure of a pop song and made them very dissonant and creepy and stripped and bloody interruptions which was more vocal heavy than the rest with some 90s sounding tones on the actual hook, the chorus is what iwould say is the false hook in that peice. or at least that was the intent. the lyrics and theme of the song is meant to sorta be akin to that blues travller song but not so much in the lyrical nonsense because these lyrics are actually deep but in the form of the song itself and the literal use of the word hook before the false chorus which is actually a reference to the fishing metaphor from the prior verse.
