Ladder match was fun. Love me some ladder matches. I haven't been watching Collision to know the whole story there, though.

Opener was fun. I'm wondering when Nick Wayne will start wearing turtlenecks like his new pop. Copeland wearing the paint was great.

I like that Julia Hart got the win. She's been v good so I'm into her actually getting a push.

Main event was good. I'm kinda meh on Jay White, but I enjoyed the match overall.

Yea overall I enjoyed the show. Outside of the announcement and the ending of the swerve/hangman match, I don't have much if anything negative to say about it.

Finished the PPV a bit earlier on, really enjoyed this and actually watched quite a few of the matches rather than skip through most of it. The size of the card was much better than previous ppv’s with a lot less multi man matches and more one on one grudge matches which always makes it feel more important to me.

All the stuff with MJF being replaced by Cole was done quite well, even though it was pretty clear MJF would come back for the match, it was good to add an extra layer of intrigue cause you knew some shenanigans were coming. MJF is just so great right now and he’s made me give a shit about Adam Cole which takes some doing. I’ve also really enjoyed Jay White during this feud, didn’t know or care much about him before but he’s a good shithead heel. The Gunns continue to be great too.

Moxley vs Cassidy was good, I really like how theyve been presenting Moxley as something of a final boss in AEW (they might’ve even actually said this on commentary). To keep that aura going I’d have actually liked him to win, but at the same time they’ve built up a good story of Cassidy getting more and more aggressive to get himself to the level of beating Mox. Hope they have Mox win his next feud tho

Swerve vs Hangman was so so good, thought it was going to end a few times and really surprised Swerve got the win in the end. Could’ve done without Cage getting involved as I think Swerve needs to be on his own now to really break into the main event. Would like both of these in and around the main event scene though.

Ladder match was good, like Screech I’ve not followed any of this story as I’ve not watched any Collision stuff but it was your usual fun multi man ladder match. The tag titles is the one place I don’t mind but dumb multi man matches because they’re always fun

What’s the deal with this tournament? I’m a bit sick of Eddie Kingston matches, although I enjoy him as a character. He’s pretty much spoiled that he’ll get to the final though by putting his titles on the line in every match. He’ll either win the lot or lose them in the final. My one request to these idiots booking all of this remains that they need to get rid of all the titles asap. I don’t care about ROH or NJPW belts at all and it just waters down everything else when you’ve got 3-4 world champions running round

Skipped through the brauds matches although I guess I don’t mind any of the ones involved.

Skipped through Omega/Jericho vs Bucks. I usually enjoy the Bucks matches but I think I might be getting a bit bored of them now? Jericho and Omega becoming a team just feels a bit forced and would much rather Omega was kept on his own around the main event picture rather than tag

Skipped through most of the Sting/Edge/Darby vs Christian stuff. The entrances were good though. This is one of those cases where an individual match would’ve felt like a bigger deal than throwing everyone into a big tag match though. But at least it made sense with Christian feuding against all three of them

I’ve enjoyed the few Will Ospreay matches I’ve seen when he’s shown up in AEW. Seems really good, but assume he’ll be going straight into the main event, which is so bloated. Just hope they don’t try and introduce a second AEW world title.

It’s bad enough when WWE opens a show with a “World Title match.” AEW has pre-show matches for World Titles. ROH is not a thing. It’s dead. It’s counterproductive to keep it around and shop it around. How happy are your media partners that you’re trying to compete with yourself?
