You're absolutely right. I am the MTV generation.
I am apathetic. I don't care to educate myself. I carry myself in a disrespectful manner. I am NOT mature. Everything bad that happens to me is NOT my fault. I don't vote. I say "datz gey". I type with numbers to show I am cool, like this : wh0a. L1ke. w3rd. h4te. I am a thug. I am also a hustler. I am white, but pretend to be black because that is the in thing at the time. I grafitti. I steal from old people. I am currently either selling, doing, or in possesion of illegal substances. I am going to be the downfall of the United States. And all this is true, only because I am 19. :-| Feel better now? Ok, now that that is out of the way, you still owe me an answer on whether you watch STREETBALL. Not basketball, but streetball. Did I say I play the game because I am fascinated with hustling and being a thug? More importantly, does the game have anything to do with hustling and being a thug? Enlighten me. |

Bigg Mike, I apologize. The reason I apologize is because I didn't fully read your original post fully and didn't think of my response clearly. It was never my intent to question you or who you are. Even if it was, what you do is your own business and you don't owe me an explanation. My whole gripe with the game is that I come from being born in the 80s and alot of politcal correct bullshit has been implanted in my head. Again, I didn't mean to direct my tirade towards your personally. I never personally claimed that you were part of someone who wants to be a "thug or hustla". I never meant to direct that toward you. I just got up and arms because someone stood up for the game. Again, I apologize. You can call me a prick if you want to, but it wasn't my intent to label you because you defended a video game.
![]() I'm somewhat familiar with streetball. As for the game, no I never thought you wanted to be a thug or hustla. It's just... the whole concept is so new. Name one video game that has ever focused on entourages. All I got aggrevated with is how desire to be famous is the end all be all society taboo. It's like all people aim for and they do anything to attain it. Look at how bad reality tv is. It just gets me concerned. When I said MTV generation, I'm just one of those mid twenties people who are bitter they play all pop music and less videos. That's where my disdain for MTV comes from, not anyone from any background. |

Who the fuck cares? It's a fun game. The first time I got Stunt Dunked on by Larry Bird, I didn't know what a Stunt Dunk was. I marked out even though I got my ass beat.
