Quite frankly, I'd like tot hank you for writing it. I nkow it may sound like this is just me sucking up to you, but I really love your discussions, they let the markish mind and the smarkish mind work together and by applying basic reason and far out ideas, it really makes for a good read/thread.
I personally wouldn't mind some kind of "over-ruling" power taking a large slice of power on RAW and SmackDown!. Not "official" power so to speak, but a growing army. I think JBL would be great for this. The Layfield Corporation already has The Bashams, Orlando Jordan and Amy Weber (who I think may train, or already is training to be a wrestler). Add Billy Kidman, Dean Malenko (as a manager), Trish Stratus, Joy Giovanni, Chavo Guerrero, Edge, Christian, Tyson Tomko, Viscera, Randy Orton, Rob Conway, Akio, Sylvain Grenier, Rene Dupree, Kenzo Suzuki, Hiroko, Candace Michelle, Fit Finlay (as a manager), Gene Snitsky, Heidenreich, Rhyno, Tajiri, Simon Dean, Paul Heyman (as a manager), Johnny Nitro, Danny Inferno, Melina Perez, Jonathan Coachman (as a manager and a commentator), Maven, Charles Robinson (as a referee), Jimmy Cordares (as a referee), Earl Hebner (as a referee), Brian Hebner (as a referee), Jack Doan (as a referee), Charlie Haas & Dawn Marie, and you have a wild stable. Now I know that is a lot of the roster, but it could really play out to be interesting. Maybe even get JBL to issue ranks to all his "employees"? Give them levels if you will. There can be a Level 1 (being the lowest), all the way up to a Level 3. People like Dawn Marie can be "fringe benefits", while some more classy characters are either level assigned (sort of like pawns in JBL's scheme) or given a place in his "Layfield Corporation Cabinet". You could have it something like this: Elite Cabinet Chairman: John Bradshaw Layfield Chief of Staff (Second in Command): Orlando Jordan Foreign Affairs (RAW LC Leader): Randy Orton SmackDown! Image Consultant (Highest Ranked Valet): Amy Weber RAW Image Consultant: Candace Michelle SmackDown! Commissioner (Unofficial GM of LC): Paul Heyman RAW Commissioner: Jonathan Coachman Lower Cabinet SmackDown! Co-Secretaries of Defense (Enforcers): The Basham Brothers RAW Secretary of Defense: Christian [B]SmackDown! Chief of Developement (Trainer/Coach/Manager used to promote talent): Bill DeMott RAW Co-Chiefs of Developement: Dean Malenko & Fit Finlay SmackDown! Head Referee: Charles Robinson RAW Head Referee: Earl Hebner Women's Executive: Trish Stratus Cruiserweight Executive: Billy Kidman Staff Level 3 Edge Charlie Haas Heidenreich Gene Snitsky Maven Jack Doan Level 2 Viscera Tyson Tomko Rhyno Tajiri Rob Conway Sylvain Grenier Rene Dupree Chavo Guerrero Kenzo Suzuki Molly Holly Jimmy Cordares Level 1 Akio Funaki Scotty 2 Hotty Steven Richards Mike Mizanin Dawn Marie Brian Hebner OK, so that would turn out a little awkward, but I really think some kind of ranking system in the Corporation would work out nicely. Having a guy lie-down for another really creates more of a bind, and it really stes up a wall if you will infront of a well-protected champion. Maybe have Vince or Shane McMahon go nuts and sponsor Triple H and JBL (or Kurt Angle) and it can go from there? I don't know, but I hope we see some kind of political/business force in the WWE soon. |
