Who here knows anything about Dualdisc format?

Dualdisc is a highbrid DVD/CD disc that appears to be copy protected. Right now, I'm looking to get around that so that I can rip MP3s for my portable. Anyone got any advice?

“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

from looking about it seems that the cd side has suncomm and the dvd side has your standard CSS copy protection

So My first idea would be to use anydvd to unlock the dvd side. and the good old "shift" key to bypass the cd side of it.

does it let you play the tracks from the computer at all?

have you tried Audiograbber?

Yeah, I tried using the shift bypass on the Audio CD side, and it still didn't load. I'm not familliar with Audiograbber.

Just googled up AudioGrabber, and it also failed to recognise the disc.
