If you're referring to the terrorist style executions in general - then I really don't see the big deal. The WWE has done far more controversial and offensive things in the past (the Kane/Lita abortion, the necrophilia angle, Billy and Chuck, UT's crucifixion of Stephanie McMahon - just to name a few), and there's no reason why a bunch of men dressed in black attacking someone should be considered worse. I know that the United States is in a "terrorists and terrorism are taboo" stage right now, but, to quote Peter Griffin: Come on... COME ON. Hassan was a great character, and had they given him more time, I think he could've become one of the biggest draws in the company. And if Eugene ever becomes the top draw in the WWE, then excuse me, but America is a bunch of retards. |
