You just spam with worthless verbal diarrhea, like Ralph Wiggum. "I think cheerleaders are pretty," "My mommy said foosball is dangerous," etc. Except not quite so intelligent, or well-written.
Worthless. In other news, Atari Bigby was signed by the Jets.

Johan almost has a complete game shutout, two men on, two outs in the ninth. Had to post it here before the games over.

Wow sucks hardcore for Grossman, having had a simliar thing happen with Rogers the past couple years makes it easy to feel for the Bears, even if they are... the Bears.
Sucks too, Schlessinger is out for ~6 weeks. Dunno maybe they'll move Bryson to FB or something. Harrington actually looked really damn good tonight, so maybe the pressure with Garcia is motivating him. Boss missed like 2 huge tackles though, lol ![]() |

"Umm, wouldn't that me like Arena football" "No, it's the NFL changing with the times..." Seriously, he is a good coach, why he can't get his teams over the "final hurdle" is a question. Game Plan? Personal? Motivation? and I don't just mean in Indy, He had good teams in Tampa Bay that choked also. It just seems after every big loss he whines about something, rather then taking the stance a Belicheck, Parcells, Shanahan etc... who say "We got beat, the other team played better then us and beat us, the refs don't decide the game the players do, and their players decided to play better then ours" (stuff like that, not exact quote). |

Dungy put together the Bucs, and coached them until they reached their peak the year they won it all. Unfortunately, we will never know if they could have done it with him, or if they needed Gruden's motivation to make it all the way. We just won't know. But this argument can be made in Dungy's favor: The entire TB team was at its peak in '02.

First of all. He doesnt whine after every big loss. I have no clue where you got that from. Posts some quotes please ,because i've never heard him whine or complain about anything other then his team and the players on that team.
As far as his coaching in Indy is concerned. He's molded our defense into a very respectable defense this year. They've done it through the draft . Thats it. No free agent signings. Last year the Defense showed amazing signs. This year they could be a top 10 defense. Maybe even top 5. This year is probably Tony Dungy's best overall team ever. There are no excuses for not winning a Superbowl this year. ( Those teams he had in Tampa Bay absolutley sucked on offense. They had Shaun King staring for them, comon. ) |

Rams are winning the NFC West this year. We got better on defense, our special teams won't be as bad, and our offense is still kickin.

Denver WR Todd Devoe (92 yard TD catch) and QB Bradlee Van Pelt (40 yard run) are the mans. Bradlee would've had better passing stats if Darius Watts wouldn't have STILL been dropping easy catches.
![]() If Van Pelt is as good as he looked, I don't know, almost makes me want Plummer to go down for atleast a little bit. |

Rectal, Dungy is on the rules comittie, the big push they had on calling pass interference came because of him after another playoff loss to the Pats.
Heck Irsay even said the other day he was tired of the team blaming everyone else and it was time for them to accept responsibility. |

I think the rules for defensive backs these days is ridiculous. Christ, you breath on a WR and its a flag. Pretty ridiculous. Everything goes full circle though so hopefully we will see a change where it can be a little more physical.

If you are chasing a WR from behind, you can't tackle him unless you can jump on him, or some how ankle-tackle him. That's fucked up. You can't grab shoulder pads OR collar him. Fuck. I hate that rule.

![]() You just, know things to be true... KNOW them... then it all goes to shit. I focused more on the "there goes your Eagles plan" part, because the Eagles got the last laugh on all of us but Steamer last year. ![]() But at least, we all knew Owens would ruin the Eagles. I love how people said that Reid will keep him in line, and winning/playing on a good team with a good QB will keep him happy... but it's not. Owens will never be happy in the NFL. I mean shit, even Randy Moss doesn't mind not getting the ball if he's winning. He's out there to have fun. |

No your facts are wrong. Dungy wasnt on the rules committee then to the best of my knowledge. Bill Polian was on the rules committe. Bill Polian led the charge to ge the rules enforced. Ultimatley what pushed the rules committee to do this was a tape that Mike Martz ( rams coach) made over a 2 year span that started when the Patriots beat them in the Superbowl. Honestly i dont see what any of this has to do with how good a coach Tony Dungy is. Someone brought this rule up and it had no bearing on the conversation or observation that i made, but if we are gunna bring it up. Lets get facts straight. Lets also point out that every team has a represenetive on the rules committee. Also just to add. This was a rule that had been placed a couple of year before the Colts even made the playoffs. It not like this wasnt a rule. It wasnt being enforced. Nothing got changed. It just got enforced. So dont be mad at the Colts for bringing something up to the rules committee. The Patriots were able to take advantage of loose refering , along with other teams. The Colts took advantage of the fact that it was a rule and they could say something to the rules committee about it. I really do enjoy when 'some' Patriots fans act like they did nothing wrong. Sure you did nothing wrong by breaking the rules and getting away with it. It wasnt wrong because you werent flagged. So it was right for the Pats to rough up our recievers and other recievers in the league passed the 5 yard line. No one was there slapping them on the hand with penalty's. Hell i would want the Colts to do the same thing if we were in the Pats shoes , but dont all of a sudden start complaining when the Colts decide to use the rules committee to there advantage by pointing out these infractions. |

Rectal you're right on one count is was Polian, however Dungy pushed the complaint and so did Martz.
The rule has been in place for many years, not a couple, it's "pass interferance". The last time they focused on enforcing it was the year Marino set the record (gee, coincidence?). Anyway, Dungy cried and they still lost. Stima put it best, you'red worried about a regular season game that's 4 months away. The Pats take it one game at a time and keep winning. Some big things this year and an improved Jets team and Dolphins team will make it tough, no TB no TJ and romeo and wies gone. Time will tell. |

As much as I despise the Patriots, I see them doing good this year. However, I think their losses outweigh their gains too much. Belichick is a GREAT coach, but I don't see the Pats going very deep in the playoffs this year.
And as much as I HATE the Colts(for obvious reasons), I think that as long as their defense holds up this year and no key player gets hurt, they'll ATLEAST be in the Super Bowl. |

They better pray that the defense stays intact, and Bettis can put up yards, even though he wanted to retire but he's being forced to play again. Poor dude. Also, oh man, without Ward/Burress to block, and help Ben, what's going to happen? It will be like he's all alone out there, and will probably continue to be exposed like he was in the playoffs. |

I think Big Ben was seriously overrated last year. He won games, but only because he had a brilliant defense and a hell of a running game. If Big Ben is asked to win games with his arm this year. I think they may be in trouble, but they can still run the ball with the Bus. Baltimore has a better team IMO.
