Yeah I dunno...Purdue has one of the best offenses in the nation? Really? They must be flying way under the radar because I didn't know that.

ND's defense is pretty bad but they Zbikowski can bust out a huge play on defense to some what counter that every once in a while. Notre Dame will probably need to win it in a shoot out if what you are saying about Purdue's offense is true and ND has already have done it a few times this season. Should be an interesting game.

Last nights South Carolina/Auburn game was pretty sick, Ohio State vs Iowa will easily be the game of the week though.

Minnesota was projected to win four games this season, and two of their wins this season came against Kent State and Temple. Not exactly the pride of the Big Ten this year.

Minnesota isnt a bad team. I doubt they were projected to win 4 games and i'm sure they'll win more.

This is the worst Minnesota team in a while, it is inbetween talent. They lost a first round draft pick running back, two All Big Ten offensive linemen, and returned only two wide recievers who played a down last year. They also lost their only good defensive player to a career ending injury. Minnesota will be back...in the middle of the Big Ten...but this year they are only projected to finish higher than Indiana, Illinois and maybe Northwestern.

Colorado is No. 113 in the nation for offensive yards per game, Mizzou is No. 1 in yards allowed per game. Hopefully it holds up tomorrow.

(I didn't think we were No. 1, but ESPN bottom line said so)

I dunno, it wasn't TOO terrible. The only thing that stands out is the play calling. Fucking Stoops called about 75% running plays all game and we cam away with about 7 yards rushing. When Tuitama had a chance to throw it, IT WORKED. And there were about 4 dropped ints. and way too many dropped passes and overthrows.

Now they go to UCLA next. Might get a W.

Speaking of, I heard a lot of mentions to the little brown jug today. There is also the battle axe with Wisconsin and Minnesota. I know my school has a couple of these, but none are a big deal like that at all. Are there any other famous ones like Minnesota/Michagan, Minnesota/Wisconsin and Minnesota/Iowa have?

What is it? Minnesota/Wisconsin is the oldest rivalry, followed by Missouri/Kansas. For some reason Arizona and ASU don't stike me as a rivalry with that kind of history. That doesn't mean that they don't. Just saying.

Territorial Cup


The Territorial Cup is a trophy that is awarded annually to the winner of the college football game between the Arizona State University (ASU) Sun Devils and the University of Arizona (UA) Wildcats and has also served as the symbol of the long standing rivalry between the two schools. The NCAA has certified it as the oldest award given for a rivalry game. It was first awarded in 1899. It went missing for about 50 years, but after being found, it has been awarded annually since 2001. The game itself is colloquially called "The Duel in the Desert."

If the Mountain West swapped San Diego State and Air Force for Boise State and Fresno State of the Western Athletic Conference, I bet Mountain West could be a BCS Conference. TCU-Utah-Boise-Fresno-New Mexico-BYU-Colorado State, wouldn't be that bad of a conference.

Hmm that is a pretty sweet conference if they actaully did it. That is a pretty good idea, since then those programs would be able to grow into a legit national contender (Much like Louisville seems to be doing right now)
