Fucking great season Mets. Honestly, going in I was gonna be happy with just a division title. They finally dethroned the Braves, and that mission was accomplished. Now they need to retool. Get a starting pitcher, and a damn good one at that.

Definately gonna be rooting for the Tigers in the WS, although it might be a bit hard watching baseball after tonight

I forget who was pitching ( Carpenter?), but he fell in love with that curve ball in the last couple of batters he faced. He threw it almost every time. Beltran should have been all over that ball.

Yah, but comon. Beltran is a top tier baseball player. He and his manager and his coaches had plenty of time to realise that the curve ball was that guys bread and butter. He should have expected it. Its not like they've never seen a curve ball before. But thats how he acted.

Oh one more thing. Wheres all these A-Rod haters with there opinions on post season performances, when it comes to Mr. David Wright, who was horrible.

But he threw it alot before Beltran was up. If he had to get a 3rd strike on Beltran, what ball did you think he would throw? That was his hottest pitch. I just find something very wrong with someone striking out looking. I know it happens, but in that situation, i cant see how you can not take a hack at it. It just felt like that pitch was coming from a mile away.

I dunno maybe cause he threw that pitch to 3 hitters and loaded the bases? I wasn't paying attention to what was getting hit and what was hitting the strike zone but they were facing Adam Wainwright. They didn't know a lot about Adam Wainwright

Also why do people make such a huge deal about post season performances. David Wright played in an 11 game stretch and hit like .118. So that means David Wright is worthless pretty much. And I guess Carlos Delgado is the greatest player of all time because he hit .350 with like 6 homers in the same stretch

Some idiot kid I know is from Vagina, but is a douche so he can't support the Redskins, Orioles/Nationals, or any of the teams close to him. Instead, he has chosen Arizona Cardinals, Charlotte Bobcats, Ottawa Senators and Toronto Blue Jays.

The Cardinals needed to win game 1 to have a chance, in my opinion. I honestly don't see why they wouldn't be equal to the Tigers right now, maybe even favored. Suppan is pitching great, Carpenter is one of the top in the NL, and Weaver seems to be doing well too. I am not counting them out at all right now.
