Every time Rock set up a potential home run point he pulled back and called him a bitch.

Yeah, and why didn't Rock talk when Cena was in the ring? That was weird to me.

Don't get me wrong... It worked well, but it was still weird.

Cena can't see The Rock....The Rock pwned Cena just by being there. Vintage Rock it wasn't much more to bee said the show was over why you think he went into auto pilot and wrapped it up. The Rock is what its all about filling the seats and entertaining the fans. They just mad cause The Rock doesn't have to try as hard ans some people feelings hurt.....

Like when Cena said The Rock wouldn't care if WWE tomorrow. He could have said how he helped keep WCW from killing WWF. When Rock kept talking about the people and living to entertaining I thought he'd bring up Cena not having half the ratings he did.

Excuses for what? The Rock was brought in tonight to do one thing, entertain. If you didn't notice, the audience was in the palm of his hand the whole time, as was most of the world. Just look at twitter, #Cenasmissingballs is still trending world wide. What exactly are we making excuses for?

Well Cena would have been a lot better to not leave the ring with such "hustle" and given some time to look The Rock in the eye for a length of time, which is the one thing he didn't do. Great segment, great build for WM especially for Jericho/Punk and Teddy/Ace. Looking forward to HBK next week too... Triple Threat?

So making millions of people talk about The Rock and John Cena on twitter is bad for the business? Last time I checked, it's those people who are going to be buying the PPV/tickets.

So I ask you, who gets the business again?

So the reason for WWE posting what is trending on twitter every 15-30 minutes is because they believe twitter is irrelevant...

I have always disliked Face Rock. I am firmly on John Cena's side. I think Rock really needs to be a heel in this whole thing.

.... and by being a heel he would be ten time more interesting, and he would also actually still get massively cheered.

So do you believe honestly that Vince or someone else in the backstage area is not telling the Rock to get whatever he can to trend?

I can say with 100% positivity that it is the case, and is exactly why he is doing it. It is a form of Marketing that otherwise could cost millions of dollars to produce.

In the end, all the marketing in the world will not save this business if we have a guy like John Cena leading the way as "The Man" it has been proven the last how many years.

This is why when Wrestlemania comes around, you see guys like The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, HHH, StoneCold Steve Austin, Bret Hart, Chris Jericho, ect ect ect.. Because without them, they would have to sell the show with John Cena, CM Punk, and whoever else is the top stars in this company now a days.

Fact is, Rock is there to sell tickets, and PPV buys, and by getting millions (AND MILLIONS ) of people to talk about him, Cena, Cena's lady parts, Cena's missing balls, Kung Pow Bitch, ect ect, on twitter, how exactly can that be a bad thing in way of exposure to the fact they are fighting at Mania?

no one is telling the rock what to say except for the personal writters he has employed for the last 13 years. vince isnt feeding him anyhting. and as far as the rock selling tickets last time i checked survivor series was a massive draw...right?

Could that have something to do with his tag partner who the world is sick of seeing, or their opponents, who were they again? Or the fact that the other main event was The Big Show vs Mark Henry, or that Diva Lumerjill match?

Uh... where have you been the last 5 years? Cena is a massive draw. See most of those ppv buys are coming from kid's parents who wanna see the show. Almost every wrestling fan I know irl watches 90% of the ppvs of the year through streams. Rock may = Chanting, but Chanting doesn't = $$$.

If someone is gone long enough, is loved enough and they come back they would draw wrestling a broom...

I hope Cena beats him in a 30 second squash just so the internet breaks in pure frustration.

A) a shows success or failure is creditied to the main and only the main. anything else is excuses.

B) did you see the rest of the card that had cena/punk? same could be said but dont let that get in the way of your lack of facts.

C) if cena was the problem guess mania is fucked...but of course by that logic cena/punk shouldnt have drawn...cause you know he was at the top of that card too...by your own logic punk > rock tho so i can go with that.

I kinda get the feeling Rock didn't know Cena was gonna come out. Cena's interruption felt kinda random after it happened. Especially after Rock seemed kinda flustered.

And the "kung pow bitch" stuff was pretty lame. Especially if it was one of the things he wrote on his hand ahead of time. Kind of afraid it was.
