I thought the cell match was good.... was it just me or was michaels really hurting in his back, i mean when he did his kip up he went straight down, he never does that. I think they had a lot more planned for this match but they had to cut it down b/c of his back, but they still pulled out a hell of a performance i think.

I stayed up until 4am to watch the Hell In A Cell match, nothing else on the card truly interested me, besides whether or not Jericho and Benoit could carry their opponents.

I sat down, putting aside the fact that I find both Michaels and HHH extremely dull, and sat hoping that the match was gonna be brilliant, because I knew that they were capable of pulling out a classic, much like Summerslam.

I ended up going to bed extremely disappointed by a slow match, with absolutely nothing memorable occuring at all. I watched the first 10 minutes, and slowly they completely lost my interest. It got to a point where I was reading the paper, looking up for any crowd reaction or JR orgasm.

The big spots in the match have happened a thousand times, the ladder/table spot could have been a truly memorable moment if they'd built it up as something major. But you just knew that Michaels was gonna come off with an elbow, and get the close 3. It was blatantly obvious, and the general feeling I had watching was that they were going through the motions, spot to spot, and you know what, the crowd were feeling that.

I will watch that match again to truly determine whether it was good or not, but watching it live, I was very unimpressed.

The Summer Slam match was better but it was still a good match. HBK is still one of the best wrestlers in WWE today. I don't care what anyone says. I'm just hoping his back is okay.

Honestly though it wasnt the best Ive ever seen, but it sure as hell wasnt the worse. I buy all PPV's whether I think its going to suck or not just for the entertainment purposes. If this card was presented again I would still buy it. I recorded this PPV based on the HIAC match. Granted it was slower than I wouldve liked I still enjoyed it. HHH winning didnt bother me (being a huge HBK fan since I was a kid)

Spending my 700th post here.

About the Cell match...

Props to HBK for blading and bleeding mad again
Props to HHH for bleeding
Props to both for some decent spots
to HHH for winning, even with 3 'most devasting finish in history since the atomic leg-drop'
for the match almost becoming a spot-fest + brawl.

Yeah the ending wasn't AWFUL other than the fact that I was rooting so hard for HBK.

The ending to the Summer Slam match between the two was one of the best pure wrestling endings to a match I've ever seen.
