Depending on the details of NXT mode it wouldn't surprise me if Paige is already on the disc and simply locked as DLC, as was the case with Warrior last year.

Wouldn't be too surprised if they don't have the "normal" batch of DLC wrestlers this year, but instead we get new characters by virtue of them appearing in the Showcase mode.

Makes no difference, aside from occasionally paying more to subsidize Sony/Microsoft's hosting fees. This is how Capcom was able to charge $20 for 12 characters in SFxT when other fighting games charged $5 for one.

Of course the saving aren't always passed on to us, though.

That's not bad. I'll be getting it, as I usually get all the DLC for these games anyway.

Only thing I want to know is if the unlock all/stats adjuster is included or if they're even doing that this year.

Would suck if they weren't I like to jump right into Universe before I do the "campaign" modes, and I know I'm not the only one.

Good to see the CM Punk model isn't as horribly disfigured as previous reports were making it out to be. That said looks like we have the same dumb looking animations for title match intros.

Would be nice to have a set of different animations to choose from when creating and editing characters, but I'd be happy with just one for each, that isn't so goofy looking.

Challenger is spot on 80's NWA babyface that isn't very relevant for this game, and the champion animation is "RAAAAAAAWR I'M CHAMP GUY!"

Yeah the soundtrack sounds terrible...but whatever. If it's bad enough I'd just mute my TV while creating a CAW or downloading stuff of of Community Creations.

Shit, you're right. I didn't even notice that initially. I just skimmed the list to see who was in.

The Season Pass + WCW, NXT, and moves packs = $44, on top of $60 already spent on the game. Shit. I can probably do without the moves but still, that's a lot of money to invest on one game.

Actually it should be cheaper. Apparently you do need to pay extra for WCW, NXT, etc. but having Season Pass gives you a discount on that.

DLC is so dumb. Hate DLC. Don't want to have to buy a game and then pay more for more content/features..... Just delay the game if you have to, and release everything together.

If DLC can make a game I love get bigger, I'm fine with it. Sometimes it get odd or frustrating. Alien Isolation doesn't seem like something that would have the amount of DLC it has, and conversely SoulCalibur 5 had no reason to just stop their offerings (if the DLC window was so defined, why didn't it have a season pass?).

This season pass sounds nice.

I've gotten the Accelerator even since they started. I use WWE games primary for multiplayer and I don't care for grinding for multiplayer elements. I'm not a fan of that kind of grinding.

I wonder how many of the DLC packs contain new attires? Obviously the Warrior one contains the Blue-Blood HHH... But does the Mark Henry one contain younger Sheamus, or DB? Because I could definitely live without the Mark Henry pack (will pretty much never use Khali for anything.)

But I wonder if the cost of the season pass it the cost of 2 of the three anyway, so if you're going to get two you might as well get the season pass. Meh.

The showcase modes individually go for $10 each, so you can spend either $20 for the 2 showcade modes you want, or just spend $25 for the season pass which gets you the extra showcase mode, Paige, accelerator (if you want to jump straight into Universe mode or something), and discounts on the other packs.

If the Showcase modes are done well, it'll be worth it anyway.
