I have to agree, it looks like it was made with the create-a-finisher mode. Good to see they got the new tag belts in too it seems.

Interestingly enough, the roster page shows the breakdown of the 14 slots yet to be announced.

SmackDown: 6
Raw: 1
Legends: 7

Marcus Stephenson has already said that Tiffany is non-playable and that The Great Khali, The Dudebusters, Rosa Mendes, Jillian, and Maria are NOT in the game. Regarding Khali, he said: "he's not in. Plans change in the WWE all the time, and we have to make judgement calls". Making a judgement call to leave in guys like Primo and Finlay instead of Khali is shocking but I have a feeling that the whole "Khali is going back to India" storyline was meant to result in him leaving the company.

The 1 Raw guy has gotta be Carlito. But outside of Shelton Benjamin and Mickie James, the SmackDown spots are hard to call. Mike Knox is likely. That still leaves 3 spots and I can't think of anybody else other than Slam Master J, Jimmy Wang Yang, and Kung Fu Naki.

Only 1 Raw spot? So does this mean we're not getting the rest of Nexus? Some people might not be happy about that. And when's the last time Kung Fu Naki has been in a WWE game?

The only ones I can't see getting in besides the announced people are Alberto Del Rio and the NXT season 2 rookies since they debuted so late.

The Raw spot is definitely Carlito. Stephenson has already confirmed that Daniel Bryan is not in the game. He said the DLC 2 Pack was always going to be NXT-related and they needed to pick out the guys they thought would be around the longest. Bryan was one of the guys, but when he got released they weren't sure what was going to happen so they needed to use someone else.

So basically, choking Roberts not only cost him his employment temporarily, but also possibly the chance to be in this year's game at all

Also, according to Tank, 2 of those question marks are NPCs (not GMs, announcers, refs etc...so I'm assuming selectable managers)

One of them is obviously Hornswoggle since WWE.com already posted his render. The other I'm going to guess is Paul Bearer as a legendary manager. Ministry Taker and Masked Kane being in as alternate attires makes it likely.

So my OFFICIAL guess before they reveal the final 14:

Vickie was also confirmed to not be in.

As for the Danielson link - here: http://headlocks4breakfast.blogspot....ng-roster.html

He's pretty much gone into damage control on his Twitter. All of the DLC they plan on releasing is already made/decided upon. Daniel Bryan is not in any of it. It takes 3 months to make a model and they have to begin production on the next game.

So we'll have to wait until October 2011 to have a legit Danielson

So Stephenson just confirmed...Ministry Taker is ONLY available through Toys R Us.

Damn. I figured it'd be like Austin last year where only one store gets a REAL exclusive and the others get codes for stuff that is in the game anyway. But nope, this year you actually have to choose which exclusive you want and presumably you'd have to pay for the rest later.

As much as I'd love Ministry Taker, fuck if I'm paying for an alternate attire.

Nah, there are a few threads on the SvR site as Q&A with the THQ guys, and one basically said that the only reason they did King and Cole was because SD and ECW were being shuffled around so much, that they couldn't guarantee it being right.

Bull if you ask me. The team got shuffled round around the time of last years game. Foley and JR were calling, then Foley left. Then Tazz replaced him. Then he left. Then Striker replaced him. Then JR was "removed", and Grisham replaced him.


Last years game, we had Tazz and JR on SD, and Striker and Grisham on ECW. They could have easily have used the ECW commentary and rerecorded some extra lines to go with the newer guys, like Naitch said.

They said EXACTLY the same last year about Austin though. I went out and pre ordered at the right place, and then a few months later, there he was on XBL.

Ok so Bret is Best Buy only, but he'll surely be DLC later, and Ministry Taker is Toys R' Us only? If I get it at work I'll get the discount, but have to pay for the later DLC's. Screw it, I'll go reserve it at Toys R'Us next week. I'd rather get Ministry Taker. I can always get a Bret Hart code on xboxamerica.com.

It definitely comes down to personal preference though. I mean, to me, personally, presentation is every bit as important as gameplay. I want the moves to look awesome and the matches to feel as they should. But I also want to see authentic entrances with awesome pyro and lighting. I want to be able to change the attire up, or edit them to update.


For example, I think it's official that Masked Kane is a legend now. I would like to take him to superstar threads and invert the colours, to match his WM2000 attire. Just to get all I can from the game.





Speaking of attires, I noticed that one of the pre-order attires for Orton is special referee. This is the 3rd year in a row that someone has had a ref attire, but for some years now, there has been no special referee attire. Seems really pointless.

Remember in No Mercy, where like everyone had a referee attire, just in case
