Right, woke up at 9:50 and got myself ready to watch this, I was so pumped up and it was one of the best ppv's they have put on for quite some time.

Hogan's appearance had me marking out like crazy. Everyone was expecting Austin to come down, it was all over the internet, the crowd were even getting in the "What" chants. Then when Eugene got attacked, the "Austin" chants started, so I was kinda like come on out Austin, but I was completly unprepared for Hogan to come out. I was watching it and was like: "Come on Austin, come down.....OH MY FUCKING GOD! lksguosagahgipahgahaou HOGAN!!!!"

Taker vs Orton was the only match in which I wanted someone to win, the other I didn't really mind who won. LOL at Bob Orton and his cast, the RKO was pretty decent, as soon as Orton made the piledriver motion I knew he was going to lose, I'm glad Taker won though.

The ladder match was better than I thought, Shelton really impressed me, didn't like Edge winning it though. He really doesn't seem like main event material to me

Angle and HBK was amazing, I started out not really gunning for either one, but much like the crowd, by the end I was 100% behind Kurt. When Kurt got the Angle slam off the top and Michaels kicked out, I let out a really loud "Oh come on!" My mum then walked in and wanted to know what the problem was.

Piper's Pit was funny, poor Carlito though

The title matches seemed to be the weaker matches of the night IMO. So much build up and they seemed to last 10-15 minutes at most. Glad Cena and Batista won.

So yeah

OK, After reading the results. Here's my thoughts on everything.

Rey/Eddie. They usually have a good heel turn at Mania and I thought this was it. So it didn't happen and Rey wins again. Well this definately sets up a turn for Eddie now.

Ladder match: Yea, I knew Edge would win. It was one of the two heels and Edge is more up the ladder, no pun intended, then Xtian is. So judging by Edge's character the last few months, you would think he would want a shot a the Title right away. Hope it's on a PPV and not on a Raw to get HHH out of the main event for a little.

Hogan/Hussan: Nice

Orton/Taker. K, I'll comment on this now. Well, they did the right thing. Yes, you heard me right. Orton is suppossed to be gone for like 4-6 months, so it made no sense to have him win if he ain't gonna be on TV for a while. Now what they should do when he comes back is play off the fact that he WAS INJURED and wasn't at 100% and that's why he lost. Asks for a rematch at Survivor Series or something and gets the win.

Women's match: WHAT

Angle/HBK: Tough to call who I wanted to win. Liked both guys here and it really didn't matter who won or lost because both are still in the same position anyway.

The Pit: Heard Roddy got a Stunner

Sumo Match: LOL. That jackoff won just to give the Japanese media/fans something to smile about. It was a Business move if nothing else.

Cena/JBL: Don't worry you JBL marks, JBL will get his Title back. Cena deserved it. He's like the #1 guy in the company and you put the belt on the #1 guy at the biggest stage of them all. Simple booking. Heard people complaining Cena dominated JBL. Would of booked it the same way. Cena comes off as strong as ever now. NOW TRADE CENA TO RAW SHITHEADS

HHH/Batista: Best Buildup since Austin/Rock. Great storyline and a great ending to the story. Booking the way it's suppossed to be done. Hope he gets a new heel opponent though.

To tell you guys the truth....Cena really didn't dominate the match. It was more JBL than anything else till the final 2 minutes or so.

I don't know why some have complained that Cena dominated that match. Even though I like JBL, I can't give him the credit. Almost all of his ppv matches, he is the one that gets dominated. Only this time, he lost his title. This also might set up a face turn in the cabinet. JBL can say that they weren't there for him and quit, or just fire the members.

And Motorhead definitely seemed off. They performed the same song at X-7, and Lemmy sounded nothing like he did then. Even though I know the lyrics, you couldn't understand what the hell Lemmy was saying. He was pulling an Ozzy or Sylvester Stallone last night.

I guess I am in the minority that I was let down by WM21. I wouldn't say it was awful but it just seemed like the performers made it feel like a wrestlemania as opposed to say a backlash. A lot of potential that I think the WWE missed a chance on and let slip away. Should I be surprised?

Eddie/Rey.... decent match but they have had better. Eddie seemed a bit slow or maybe not into it? main eventing WM a year ago to first match on the card may have gotten to him. Rey's mask problem kind of set the tone for the night in my opinion that none of the guys (excpet benoit, benjamin, michaels, & angle) were prepared or had things ready. Eddie turning heel would have made this match more enjoyable to me. not bad, but both have had better.

ladder match.... Shelton Benjamin ..WOW! the t bone, the ladder clothesline were 2 tremendous spots! Benoit amazes me, and he should amaze WWE bookers! from main eventing last year to 2nd match of WM this year, and he still goes balls out without even being in the title picture! do something with benoit!! bring back the horsemen or something to give Benoit the spotlight again! edge's win made the only sense they could with this match, once he won you knew batista had his match locked up. good match, I just still think Kane should not have been in it.

hogan/hussan.... i saw someone said earlier the net was saying austin was gonna be making the save, I read it was gonna be hogan, completely saw this coming. nice gut on hogan these days!! i notice they didnt really have an impromptu match per say! i wonder if hussan pulled his creative control of his character card backstage and said , fuck this im not selling for some 50 year old guy with Rick Derringer singing his theme song??? the part with hogan posing by the american flag on the screen was a great touch tho! hopefully hogan stays gone! good to see eugene, midgets ARE awesome!

Orton/ Taker.... I just didn't care about this match. I like both guys just fine, but you can't have taker lose at mania, there's just no way to make that look right, especially with orton missing time coming up as someone mentioned. BTW shouldn't cowboy bob sue vince by now for the shit doctors mcmahon provides if that arm is still broken after 21 years?lol

women's..... was surprised hemme didn't win. Although 5 head has absolutely no skill in the ring I just figured laying down for playboy guarunteed you a title run. trish looked hot even with not much skin showing. but anyway does anyone ever care about the women's match?

hbk/angle...... the reason i spent 50 bucks for this ppv was this match. not for cena, not for jbl, not for hhh, and not batista, i wanted to see this match and thought it had potential to be better than savage/steamboat. What a thriller many great spots. I still can't believed michaels tapped. i thought it could defnetly go either way but thought it would be a pin, not a tap.both men are what is good about WWE they made it feel like wretlemania!! outshined every match put together. be interesting to see where each man goes from this

piper's pit...... what a total piece of crap. huge opportunity blown here. well let me clarify, if austin being there was a 1 time thing then it doesn't really matter. But to me the sign was he is coming back in some capacity, the austin returns promos, and the new t shirt seem to indicate he is going to be around. that is the great news. But.. if that is the case boy did WWE blow a shot at making this great. What better man to go face to face with austin than piper. He was more on last night then he had been in almost 10 years. I thought when piper started introducing him then said "bullshit" he was gonna try to claim he was the originator of what austin does. I loved when piper got on the idiot fans about the "what" (the dumbest thing in wrestling). but where they dropped the ball...... piper should have kept into austin, goading him about leaving, coming, back, leaving again. Kept on him about quitting, what kind of rebel just quits? whre is that fire austin, where the hellraiser? what kind of worlds toughest son of a bitch rides a 4 wheeler and calls himself the sherriff? prompting austin to light up and claim hes gonna come back and take over then stunning piper. Sumo match.... again huge blown opportunity. we all knew this was gonna suck and it did. However at least for the torment of seeing 2 500 lb fatties in butt floss the least we could have gotten was big show going ape shit after losing, and chokeslamming tub o goo and that annoying screaming kimono wearing fruit! turning him heel. We are all concerned about who is batista going to fued with no since there is only HHH, what about Cena, all there is is JBL again. At least with show heel u gain something! waste of time and dollars!

jbl/cena..... we all know how i feel about marky mark and ted dibiase jr. The match sucked, they had a month to design this match together and that is what they came up with?? cena is over with or without the title so he didn't need it, and i wouldn't say he has paid al lthat many dues to earn the title so i don't see the sense of this. jbl without the belt isn't even a midcarder, his character is useless without the title, but whatever. this match though should have been like a streetfight though. Neither guy can wrestle, and with michaels and angle just putting on a wrestling clinic, and HHH/ batista coming up next who are gonna have the same snoozefest as these two goons, i thought jbl and cena could have gotten better reviews by just going all out with a streetfight. In and out of the ring, making it look real personal, not just mailing it in like they did. JBL had escaped every situation as champ you could think of...yet he couldn't escape the power of pumped up reeboks?wow way to go guys! lets make him look like a total chump!

HHH/batista.... as a kid i was always so mad that even if hogan didn't have the belt he was still the last match of the night and title matches played second fiddle, but this should have been one of those nights. Angle/michaels should have gone last! HHH and batista had been running mates for 2 years and the best match they could give was that on the biggest night?? both of them exposed that the other cannot carry a good match with a like opponent. Such a slow pace. reminded me at some points of hhh/steiner. Good to see batista win only for the fact that i would like to see anyone but HHH have the belt

some good spots in the night don't get me wrong, but some missed spots i thought too. got what i expected of the title matches , but would have liked to see some things different, here is hoping that the new storylines are good for this year

As far as PPVs go, it was average. As far as wrestlemanias go, it was bad.
I'm sure long time wrestling fans will agree with me here.
I must write a proper review on amazon, it's so annoying to see 'Dis waz da best wrestlemania eva!' in reviews by stupid kids that have been watching wrestling for a few months.

Eddie Rey: 7/10
Hogans return: MARK OUT
Batista H: Predictable, 9/10 though
Cena JBL: 7/10 not even close to being better, mediocre match

Finally got around to ordering it.

Pretty good show, not as good as X-9, slightly better overall but without the awesome ending XX had.

Eddie vs Rey was good but I'd have prefered Eddie going over

SHelton is gonna be huge someday, Edge winning was useless, but the match was pretty damn good

Hogan had way too long of a posedown but meh whatever

UT vs Orton was suprisingly decent, second best RKO ever too. Glad UT won since any momentum Orton would have gotten from picking up the win would have been lost due to his injury, that and Orton just isn't the future.

The Women's title match was thankfully short and not terrible. I kinda dug the out of nowhere KO ending

Angle vs HBK: Match of the night, potential match of the year, I personally didn't find any of it boring, but that's just me.

Piper's Pit was pretty funnym with the whole respect through violence thing, Carlito was hillarious. Piper seemed really intoxicated, but hey that's Piper. Didn't really dig the Stunner on Piper but meh it was bound to happen

Big show vs Akebono

Didn't watch it so moving on

JBL vs Cena

Meh, seemed like a Smackdown quality match, short and rather bland, the FU still sucks but at least Cena went down with the move instead of just remaining standing

HHH vs Batista

I'll have to get back to you on that, I dozed off. I will say that HHH could have had an amazing entrance if Motorhead, namely Lemmy didn't fuck up the song so bad that I had flashbacks of WM 2000 and Pimpin' Ain't Easy Man

Over on Raw, Batista and Bischoff have had some "altercations". (Batista insulted Bischoff in a smarmy way on two straight Raws before Mania.

On SD, Long and Cena, both faces, have had some preoblems. (Cena FUing Long, leading to Long banning Cena from touching JBL).

Now both guys are champs of their respective brand. It seems not only very possible that there could be a trade of the champions with both GMs not getting along with their champ but maybe it's been in the works for the past few weeks now.

I think WM 21 will definitely go down in WWE history as on of the BETTER Manias, but definitely not quite one of the BEST, Overall I'd give it a 7.75 out of 10.

Rey's mask problem kind of set the tone for the night in my opinion that none of the guys (excpet benoit, benjamin, michaels, & angle) were prepared or had things ready. Eddie turning heel would have made this match more enjoyable to me. not bad, but both have had better. ladder match.... Shelton Benjamin ..WOW! the t bone, the ladder clothesline were 2 tremendous spots! Benoit amazes me, and he should amaze WWE bookers! from main eventing last year to 2nd match of WM this year, and he still goes balls out without even being in the title picture! do something with benoit!! bring back the horsemen or something to give Benoit the spotlight again! edge's win made the only sense they could with this match, once he won you knew batista had his match locked up. good match, I just still think Kane should not have been in it. hogan/hussan.... i saw someone said earlier the net was saying austin was gonna be making the save, I read it was gonna be hogan, completely saw this coming. nice gut on hogan these days!! i notice they didnt really have an impromptu match per say! i wonder if hussan pulled his creative control of his character card backstage and said , fuck this im not selling for some 50 year old guy with Rick Derringer singing his theme song??? the part with hogan posing by the american flag on the screen was a great touch tho! hopefully hogan stays gone! good to see eugene, midgets ARE awesome! Orton/ Taker.... I just didn't care about this match. I like both guys just fine, but you can't have taker lose at mania, there's just no way to make that look right, especially with orton missing time coming up as someone mentioned. BTW shouldn't cowboy bob sue vince by now for the shit doctors mcmahon provides if that arm is still broken after 21 years?lol women's..... was surprised hemme didn't win. Although 5 head has absolutely no skill in the ring I just figured laying down for playboy guarunteed you a title run. trish looked hot even with not much skin showing. but anyway does anyone ever care about the women's match? hbk/angle...... the reason i spent 50 bucks for this ppv was this match. not for cena, not for jbl, not for hhh, and not batista, i wanted to see this match and thought it had potential to be better than savage/steamboat. What a thriller many great spots. I still can't believed michaels tapped. i thought it could defnetly go either way but thought it would be a pin, not a tap.both men are what is good about WWE they made it feel like wretlemania!! outshined every match put together. be interesting to see where each man goes from this piper's pit...... what a total piece of crap. huge opportunity blown here. well let me clarify, if austin being there was a 1 time thing then it doesn't really matter. But to me the sign was he is coming back in some capacity, the austin returns promos, and the new t shirt seem to indicate he is going to be around. that is the great news. But.. if that is the case boy did WWE blow a shot at making this great. What better man to go face to face with austin than piper. He was more on last night then he had been in almost 10 years. I thought when piper started introducing him then said "bullshit" he was gonna try to claim he was the originator of what austin does. I loved when piper got on the idiot fans about the "what" (the dumbest thing in wrestling). but where they dropped the ball...... piper should have kept into austin, goading him about leaving, coming, back, leaving again. Kept on him about quitting, what kind of rebel just quits? whre is that fire austin, where the hellraiser? what kind of worlds toughest son of a bitch rides a 4 wheeler and calls himself the sherriff? prompting austin to light up and claim hes gonna come back and take over then stunning piper. CArlito????? are we serious??? Fing carlito? what a waste, totally idiotic Sumo match.... again huge blown opportunity. we all knew this was gonna suck and it did. However at least for the torment of seeing 2 500 lb fatties in butt floss the least we could have gotten was big show going ape shit after losing, and chokeslamming tub o goo and that annoying screaming kimono wearing fruit! turning him heel. We are all concerned about who is batista going to fued with no since there is only HHH, what about Cena, all there is is JBL again. At least with show heel u gain something! waste of time and dollars! jbl/cena..... we all know how i feel about marky mark and ted dibiase jr. The match sucked, they had a month to design this match together and that is what they came up with?? cena is over with or without the title so he didn't need it, and i wouldn't say he has paid al lthat many dues to earn the title so i don't see the sense of this. jbl without the belt isn't even a midcarder, his character is useless without the title, but whatever. this match though should have been like a streetfight though. Neither guy can wrestle, and with michaels and angle just putting on a wrestling clinic, and HHH/ batista coming up next who are gonna have the same snoozefest as these two goons, i thought jbl and cena could have gotten better reviews by just going all out with a streetfight. In and out of the ring, making it look real personal, not just mailing it in like they did. JBL had escaped every situation as champ you could think of...yet he couldn't escape the power of pumped up reeboks?wow way to go guys! lets make him look like a total chump! HHH/batista.... as a kid i was always so mad that even if hogan didn't have the belt he was still the last match of the night and title matches played second fiddle, but this should have been one of those nights. Angle/michaels should have gone last! HHH and batista had been running mates for 2 years and the best match they could give was that on the biggest night?? both of them exposed that the other cannot carry a good match with a like opponent. Such a slow pace. reminded me at some points of hhh/steiner. Good to see batista win only for the fact that i would like to see anyone but HHH have the belt some good spots in the night don't get me wrong, but some missed spots i thought too. got what i expected of the title matches , but would have liked to see some things different, here is hoping that the new storylines are good for this year

On SD, Long and Cena, both faces, have had some preoblems. (Cena FUing Long, leading to Long banning Cena from touching JBL). Now both guys are champs of their respective brand. It seems not only very possible that there could be a trade of the champions with both GMs not getting along with their champ but maybe it's been in the works for the past few weeks now. Interesting...
