No, the Sox have turned out to be a really solid team this year. Mike Lowell is doing really well as is Loretta and some other guys. They will make some good moves when they need to, maybe go after another starting pitcher or get some bullpen guys like they did a few years ago, but right now the clash of the Sox in the ALCS looks good.

Just heard that deal with the 'Stros isn't happening or something, dunno if that means it is off for good or what. Maybe he'll come to the Red Sox haha..wishful thinking I guess

Really though, rumors like that will fly in Boston until it is set in stone.

I heard today from a St. Louis fan (based on what he read in a Cards message board) that the Cards were going to trade for Torii Hunter and that the Yankees already rejected an offer of Torii for Cano and Wang. Seriously, why would the Twins trade for a second baseman and fifth starter?

The Jays score big against the RSOX starters, but then get virtually shut out by the RSOX bullpen. Boston makes a comeback, but then fall short.

Been 2 good games to watch... if you're a Jays fan.

Should be interesting to see what the Cubs will do with Nevin. They'll probably platoon him with Todd Walker at first, but I think they should let him be the regular 1B and move Walker back to 2B. When Derrek Lee gets back though he's going to have nothing to do.
