ok I just saw it. Here is a couple notes:

1. The TNA wrestlers came off as the "inept guards" in the Austin Powers movies

2. Al Snow joined with the ECW guys yet when Dixie said "I invited them" they cut to him and he looks horridly confused and screams "WHAT??" -- How could he have been with the group and not known what the fuck was going on...I guess he just randomly started beating fuckers up.

3. They didn't even make mention to RVD (the champion face) beating up TNA guys during this mess.

4. Wow I didn't know D-Lo worked in TNA.


5. I didn't see it as the TNA guys coming out to help Abyss but rather to get the outsiders away from the champion or just simply out of their ring. Nobody really "helped" abyss during this mess.



Basically that is all my notes. I'm confused and not happy with how it went down.

nah its a big swerve. The "they" Abyss is speaking of is a WCW "super group" that will come in to destroy the ECW group.

During battle both sides will destroy the other and rid the world of all major wrestling organizations besides tna and wwe.



WCW Super Group will include: Disco Inferno, Berlin, Prince Iakuai, Meng, Bobby Duncam, Jr & their leader The Taskmaster

My feelings with that are that TNA doesn't want to aknowledge RVD with ECW, and within the time between now and Hard Justice that RVD will sway and join the ECW side.

But to me this whole ECW storyline reaks of TNA trying their damdest to get Paul Heyman

Well here's the thing. Maybe Heyman will join to help re-build it and make it respectable. Maybe he finds it a challenge to fix something that is broken. I mean, if he can come in and make TNA a legitamite contender with the WWE would he not gain your respect by making something great out of nothing.

While it may have been planned ages ago, even before the good stuff that the Nexus is doing just now, it came accross as a clusterfuck rip off is what I was saying. It looked as if it was booked in the style of "Oh, wrestling fans like big fights.. Lets get a big fight". It was poorly executed, and if it had been planned as long as they are saying it was, surely the final execution coulda been tons better.

Even if the whole editing thing is true this is still a massive joke.

Why would you air the supposedly good angle to a live audience of 1,000, then air shit to the 1.5 million that watch the show. Good job TNA.

That really smoked the pole, not much crowd participation at all and it just seemed so slow paced and forced as if they couldn't be bothered.

Two points about the TNA show on Monday:

1. The hottest angle going right now is the WWE invasion by the Nexus. So, what does TNA do? A TNA invasion by ECW. I know an invasion angle is nothing new in wrestling, but, at least IMO, TNA shouldn't have done it at the same time as the WWE. They should be going in another direction, trying to offer something special and unique to increase its viewership. The invasion by ECW came off as EXTREMELY (pun intended) second-rate and unorganized.

2. After a solid match between Brian Kendrick and Doug Williams, Kevin Nash came out and choke-slammed Brian Kendrick. Two young guys had just put on a solid performance, and in a matter of seconds it was overshadowed by a 51-year-old guy who can barely even walk, much less wrestle, making it all (once again) about the senior citizenship of TNA. Very frustrating.

Do people really expect any new angle from TNA to be awesome?

We hear this like, every month. It's up there with Smackdown always being the better show, CM Punk being in the doghouse, and Cena turning heel. It comes up often, but with no real basis in reality.

We hear this like, every month. It's up there with Smackdown always being the better show, CM Punk being in the doghouse, and Cena turning heel. It comes up often, but with no real basis in reality.
But are the people in charge of TNA just TRYING to fail, or do they have no fucking clue what they're doing??

I have asked myself that question numerous times regarding TNA. However, no business model includes the "trying to be closed within a year" slogan so the scary problem is......why do they think they are doing things right?

Did you guys hear about this?

A fan jumped the ring during the Mr. Anderson vs. Matt Morgan match at the TNA Impact taping on Tuesday. The fan was described as being around 13 years-old. The fan went to Anderson and held up his arm after the match. Morgan got up and clothes-lined Anderson as was scripted, which apparently scared the hell out of the boy, who then ran away. The planned angle continued as planned once the boy was out of the ring.

There was a lot of joking backstage about how Morgan should have taken the kid out. There was also some heat on Universal Studios security for allowing the kid to get to the ring. The boy was caught and told that he is no longer allowed to attend shows at the Impact Zone.
