If you were booking Raw, would you put a huge storyline on a guy that is liable to breakdown before it concludes?

I like Edge (even if I've never fully bought him as a Main Eventer/Champion) but I'm sure I wouldn't put all the chips on him on the "flagship" show.

I completely see where you're coming from.

I don't feel Edge needs to be in the main event picture. I do feel that a character with the background that he has should hold some sort of importance on the show outside of fodder.

This is a guy who's still over with the fan base, and can still put on a decent to good match depending on who he's in the ring with. Your right to say putting all your hope on him is a liability. But he deserves more than the direction, or lack there of, he's getting on Raw.

They need to give him some sort of purpose. Him walking out on Cena and co. last week was pretty pointless. It didn't lead to anywhere and served only to handicap Cena and his partners. That's what I'm talking about. That should be leading to something that's going to continue the character's development and give him something meaningful to do.

Even though I hate the demotion in status on Raw, I can at least know that there's a direction and eventual payoff with Jericho coming. What is Edge currently doing besides floating around?

Again, he doesn't have to be the center of attention, but it'd be nice for him to be doing something meaningful.
