I don't think it matters much. they're not stylish heels and they're not anti-heroes.

the shirt itself is not that bad, but nexus as a group has not appealed to the masses.

other than barrett and to a lesser extent gabriel, who else in nexus has gotten enough screen time so the crowd can identify them.....running in and beating up cena and whoever will not make individuals stand out.

vince thought nexus would generate a certain amount of buzz...which it did....then they fucked it up.

maybe they should start handing out t-shirts in the crowd or something

So, from the evidence gathered on this thread, if the Nexus shirts were black & white they would widely be considered cool and "wathefukisVince's problem?", but because the logo is bright caution tape yellow, it isn't. Evidence? The EV2, nWo, Austin 3:16, and original D-X shirts are all black and white, and they are pointed to as examples of "doing it right".

Not necessarily. They could keep the black and yellow scheme and still making something cool. The logo seems like something anyone could create on paint, as many have already said. They should release a second one and give it a go.

I remember seeing the Nexus shirt on WWE's top selling products early on into its release. It must have really dropped down or something.

all the thread derailing aside, anyone else see this as a reason to slow turn cena heel? randy orton has been slow turned face as a badass, and now cena might be forced to be part of nexus. anyone see the silver lining there?

cena is "forced" to start wearing the nexus shirt against his will, orton gains popularity as a face, and slowly cena starts doing worse and worse things, at the nexus command of course. at first. slowly cena starts enjoying what he accomplishes (maybe tag gold with barrett or some shit like that to prove that cena is working for them) only for it to blow up into cena booting barrett from nexus when they start arguing over who gets to unify the titles when it comes around. easy to let barrett get booted when nexus knows what cena has been capable of in the past. suddenly cena is the leader of the heel stable that's destined to be known for unifying the WHC and WWE belts.

i can keep going with how it could be booked, but there's no sense in that at this point. it would just be a great way, IMO, to turn cena heel finally, sell the damn nexus shirts, and make an interesting feud.
