Triple H can still move merchandise. His return pop will be huge and make for a nice moment. He's been gone long enough that I feel he would almost be fresh if he returned. However, like some have said, if he is put over guys too strong, he'll wear out his welcome pretty fast. RAW has been the best it has been in ages, and a large part of that is due to the freshness of guys like Nexus, The Miz, Daniel Bryan and even a guy like John Morrison getting a push.
Triple H being revealed as the General Manager and booking himself in a match against Sheamus is something I'd want to see. Especially if Sheamus (after initial shock), no-sold Triple H's return and was like "I broke him once, I'll break him again, fella." Plus you can have Stephanie McMahon hovering around telling Hunter to retire and look after his family. Creates some awesome drama in the storyline. Triple H can win at TLC, which gives him a big face victory, which I do think he needs. But then have him tossed out of the Royal Rumble by Sheamus, to give ol' red one last laugh over Triple H. I've got no clue what I'd like to see Triple H do at WrestleMania, though. To be perfectly honest, he's only really got a story going on with Sheamus. Can they drag that out until Mania? With proper writing, they could, but that's a long shot. I guess I could get into Triple H feuding with Nexus. |

Sheamus is in a solid feud that's using his new found main evebt status to help elevate a John Morrison. He doesn't need to go backwards into another feud with Hunter. I really feel like there's not a whole lot left for Hunter to do at this moment. I mean, you cpuld slide him into the Nexus angle, but we already have both Cena, Orton, and now possibly the Miz intertwining in that angle. Hard for me to see how Hunter fits there. |

That would be awesome, but after they teased it, my personal tastes lean more towards Daniel Bryan vs. CM Punk. You basically keep the US Title on Bryan until Punk is ready to return. While on commentary, although still technically being a heel, Punk gives enough props to the faces that when he is ready, he can get a nice pop for it. He approaches Bryan about joining a new Straight Edge Society. Bryan respectfully declines so Punk respectfully requests a shot at the US Title.
The two play sly little games with each other heading in, and they both talk about how they want their match to highlight how much they enjoy competition. Daniel Bryan retains the US Title there, and Punk snaps after the match, attacking Bryan from behind and cementing his status as a heel. At Extreme Rules, you let the guys go in a No Holds Barred Match, where Bryan again retains the US Title with some sort of fucked up submission hold in the ropes. You could even have Punk look like a stubborn bad-ass who doesn't submit here, and continue their feud into Over the Limit. Some sort of Ultimate Submission Match? By this point, Bryan would have spent like 8 months as United States Champion. You draft MVP over, and he gets a bit worried that Daniel Bryan is going to rival his title reign. The two have a feud themselves, and Bryan goes over there. It'd be tremendous for both the United States Title and Daniel Bryan. |

That all depends on his push. If WWE is serious about keeping him at the top, he won't get jobbed to holy hell. He'd only get jobbed out if their plans were to job him out anyways.
Cena, Batista, Jeff Hardy and others all came out of feuds with HHH better than they went in. |

I think it would be hard to take The Miz seriously in a match against Triple H. By that I mean, how am I suppose to believe The Miz will beat Triple H? When he comes back, Triple H will come back as a dominant figure, not like Taker did this last time. When Triple H is a top face and dominant, he has really never lost. I don't see this happening. Even though Triple H putting over The Miz would be awesome (pun intended).

It's just because you haven't seen him mixing with those guys. That's the only reason. It's not a size thing, because he's no smaller than Jericho or CM Punk, and others who have had long careers on top. And it's certainly not a question of on-air character/ability. |

If they want to push Miz, they should push him against the best. If they don't want to have him win then don't bother, but clearly they're going to put him against someone. |

No. Triple H needs, NEEDS, to come back and give "the rub" to the young guys. Having him come back and feud with The Miz for the WWE Title would "legitimize" Miz as Champion. Hunter already did that for Sheamus, so, WWE needs him on tv.

It would legitimize him as champ if HHH gave him the rub, but how many times has he done that?
Wasn't the reason he wanted to give the rub to Sheamus because Sheamus was his workout buddy? |

Personally, I think HHH needs to be on my TV right the fuck now. For some reason I want him to come back as a heel for awhile though before the inevitable face turn. Nothing like a pissed off HHH kicking the shit out of people for no reason. Always puts a smile on my face.

If he comes back as an ass-kicking heel...surely he'll suplant Miz at the top of the food chain.
No way is Miz gonna be anything but a sneaky "cowardly" heel champ. |

If they had a 3 match series, and Miz was able to take two out of those three matches or just went over Hunter in two consecutive matches, then I'd be down for a program with them. But as mentioned several times above, Hunter tends to be dominant more times than not and does not give the rubn all too often.
If it means Miz getting a nice rub and actually pinning Triple H after a SCF, then I'm more than down. Just have a feeling Hunter would go over and Miz' push would hit a wall. |

It's not that.
HHH is in the twilight of his career, more so, a lot of the Main Event talent has either gone (HBK) or on the way out (Taker, Mysterio can't have many years left). Therefore, WWE needs to keep their new talent looking strong. If HHH comes back and goes over a guy like Miz the thought process becomes "So, Miz is a top guy...as long as HHH (etc) isn't around". To build a new "Top Tier Guy" they have to be put over the outgoing guys. HHH knows this, let's see if he puts it into practice. |

I'm guessing that's the setup for his return.
Sheamus boasts about being the only "King" in WWE, "King of Kings" hits, enter HHH. Fued. HHH goes over. |

James, I get where you're coming from, but losing to Triple H, who has been shelved for months, is not going to help Miz.
Triple H is at that point in his career where him losing does nothing to tarnish his already legendary status. He needs to take what he's done in the past, and like he did with Sheamus, use it to help legitimize the new up and coming talents and set them up for the future. It worked the same way back in mid 1999 and early 2000 when Hunter was destroying every Mick Foley persona, which lead to Hunter retiring Foley. While he was well on his way, going over a guy like Mick Foley the way he did legitimized Triple H as the top heel in the company. He's now in a position to do the same. |

I'm not sure I'd even want to see that again. Like I said earlier, I feel Sheamus has moved past his Triple H phase. Restarting a feud that Sheamus pretty much won wouldn't do anything more than what it's done already.

Unless he wins it again. I still want to see that 3 stages of hell match they were talking about.
Other than that I'm good with it. |

I do want to see HHH do something else for Wrestlemania, to be honest. I've liked the HHH/Sheamus feud, but I don't really want to see them both doing the same thing at Mania again.
I'd be happy if they were able to tie the whole thing up before Wrestlemania. Ideally, they'd meet again in the Rumble, have their 3 Stages of Hell match at the Febuary PPV and close the book on it. Then move onto fresh programs. But with the way Elimination Chamber is set up, they will probably require both of them for the Chamber matches. |

I think you could "end it" at the Rumble. (Pray to God HHH is back by then).
They have the 3 Stages of Hell match at the Rumble. Sheamus wins, but then Triple H eliminates Sheamus and gets his last laugh and stars argues with Sheamus when _______ throws him out and makes fun of him. Lead to next feud - right there. |
