Seeing Macho and Flair together, and the Steiners and LOD split was sick too.

Even pre NWO, WCW had some good shit, they just never could put it all together.

My first reaction to Bourne's second suspension was: Is he stupid? Now I realize that he isn't. He knows the consequences of his actions. It just seems that he isn't taking his career in the WWE seriously anymore. Maybe he figures he can go to TNA - where he'd still make decent money, could smoke all the weed he wants, and not have to deal with the brutal travel schedule.

Sucks. They were really a good team, with good chemistry.

I was hoping WWE would throw Ryder with Kofi, but it looks like they'll just have them drop the gold to another team. Ryder and Kofi could have some funny interactions.

Assuming Air Boom eventually drops the titles so Bourne serves his suspension, what face tag team is currently #2 ?

It can't be the Usos since they barely get any crowd reaction and outside of a random mix with Kofi again, nobody else is at the level Air Boom was for faces.

There are plenty of heel teams though although the top two are Awesome Truth and Zig/Swag so neither of them would be turning to fill the void.

They should make this an angle.

Have Swaggler or whomever they view as the heel threat start cutting promos about how Evan is a failure to his fans, and was suspended. He is not a worthy champ. Let them work over Kofi for 30 days. Get them over as heels working over the popular Kofi and burying Bourne.

Then have him come back and cut a promo about how he made a mistake and is human etc. Hes under stress to always push to always push the limits. Make people sympathetic. Develop a personality other than I DO FLIPS.

I love how everytime someone is suspended for a wellness policy violation, it's IMMEDIATELY "TEH STEEROIDZ!!!1! ... or *maybe* weed."

Like there are no other substances known to man, legal or not (pain meds, anyone? Anyone??), that can constitute violations.

I understand it being the sarcastic thing to do, because when someone thinks 'roids, they think of physiques like HHH and Mason Ryan as opposed to Sin Cara and Steve Regal. Still- maybe Slater is a meth head. Maybe the Dolph-l-ganger (Bourne) was abusing oxy. Hell, Alex Riley got a violation for a DUI, and we all know he isn't the first or last wrestler to be driving around drunk... just he got caught and it was a PR black-eye for the suits in Stamford.

Johnny Ace announces that they can challenge, but they have to earn the titles. Some sort of round robin tournament to decide the new WWE Tag Team Champs.
