Who did Hennig ever "make"?

When was Hennig ever a top tier guy besides in the late80's with Hogan, but their program didn't draw.

Hennig post Mr. Perfect run in WCW was meh.

Flair is probably the greatest heel in wrestling history. He outdrew Hennig massively, was a better wrestler, singlehandedly kept WCW in business, won just about every title created except for the OCW title which is why he still wrestles, and was 10x better on the mic. You people are fucking retarded.

Also, even though he is old and way past his prime, I would still rather watch Ric Flair than half of the current guys in the WWE/TNA.

In terms of charisma, on the mic, and gimmick, they're pretty much equal, to be honest.

And when we go to actual wrestling ability, and it's not even close...Hennig blows Flair away.

You know this brings up something that's nagged me for a while; why does there seem to be no love for the Flair/Perfect career-ending match on Raw? I seem to recall that match being pretty damn sweet yet I never see it given any props. The finish with Perfect whipping out the surprise Perfect-Plex and Bobby Heenan going apeshit was fantastic.

I get your point, but at the same time, when I compare any two wrestlers for something like this- I have to weigh up their good points and bad points.

To use your Star Wars analogy, it would be like saying the whole franchise was amazing, but ignoring the new trilogy and shitty spin-offs...

Similarly, the Indiana Jones series takes a hit from Crystal Skull, and depending on who you are Temple of Doom. Nobody would claim these series were flawless by ignoring the clunkers.

You may have spent years being entertained by Star Wars, but if you were to call the series as a whole brilliant, you'd probably be laughed at by anyone with any ability to reason.

Which is why the same really should hold true for Flair. And why your logic falls flat. I know Gertie's just playing his gimmick, but you actually seemed to put a kernel of thought into it.

Is Jurassic Park a movie that stands the test of time and remains excellent? Yes. Is the Jurassic Park franchise? Fuck no.

Apply the same critical standards to Flair and....

Ive only just really gotten to see Mr.Perfects work and I love it Flair is entertaining and all but hes such a shell and a prime example of what not to do
