WWE.com officially announced today that there will be a 6-on-6 match to determine who will be GM of both shows. Participants weren't announced, but I imagine we'll know them after Raw.
I know this match has been speculated for a while, but now that it's official, who do you think will be in it? |

Seeing as they haven't had Del Rio or Christian back yet since EC and how these have all been intigrated into the feud in the past couple of weeks, I think it's just going to simply be be Santino, R-Truth and Kofi vs Otunga, Swagger and Ziggler.

ADR, Christian, Henry, Swagger, Ziggler, and Otunga vs. Rey, Truth, Kofi, Santino, Khali, and a random legend (Foley? Simmons?)
Babyface team is way harder to predict. |

Oh shit 6v6. For some reason I read it as 3v3. Must've thought it said 6 man tag and not 6v6.

In that case I'd say that loopydates teams are pretty accurate to what it will be.

Don't like it 6 vs 6. Probably gonna end up wasting a whole bunch of talent that deserves better.
In order to make more time for Cena/Rock hype promos. |

Regardless, I will be looking for at least one team member to be a MOLE and cost his side the match and turn face/heel.

I’m hoping Kane vs. Randy Orton gets No Holds Barred. Orton thrives in that environment, and the match would be better off for it.
I'm also hoping Kane debuts a new outfit at WrestleMania. It seems like most guys debut new outfits at WM, and Kane could really use something that isn't "last Halloween-like." |

Team Laurinaitis should probably be David Otunga, Mark Henry, Christian, Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger. The babyface team is way harder to predict, but we already have Santino Marella, Kofi Kingston & R-Truth confirmed. I also believe that Kofi & Truth will win the WWE Tag Team Championship heading into WrestleMania to add some credibility to their side. The Great Khali is also likely to be added. If Rey Mysterio is healthy enough to work the event, they'll no doubt put him in. The last guy is a bit harder. It could be a legend like Mick Foley, but it could also be a dude like Zack Ryder or Justin Gabriel. I hope that they get enough time to tell a story with that match. I'd like to see a babyface mole moment, where Christian turns back to the side of good and betrays Team Laurinaitis, allowing Santino to hit The Cobra on Otunga and Gabriel to follow-up with the 450 Splash.
I'm really looking forward to Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus. It seems like a foregone conclusion that Sheamus wins, but the more I think about it the more I want to see Bryan win and continue his reign, while Sheamus gets built as the "rightful champion." That's the story I'd go with over on SmackDown! for the summer, anyway. Jericho and Punk are going to be the sleeper hit, and it's weird saying that about a WWE Championship match at WrestleMania. Jericho and Punk know what their strengths are, and they are going to deliver big time, I think. Punk should retain since Jericho really doesn't need the WWE Title at this point, and the money after WrestleMania is Punk vs. Cena for the title. Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show will surprise some people I think. In my opinion, the best way to book it would be for Show to go over clean with The Weapon of Mass Destruction. Give people the immediate pay-off and Show a token Intercontinental Title reign. But what this does to Rhodes is helps him evolve his character even further. Rhodes becomes obsessed with hurting Big Show, which lends itself perfectly to Extreme Rules, where Rhoes regains the Intercontinental Championship before he's drafted off to RAW and becomes a big-time player there after he spends a few months defending the Intercontinental Title against his brother and maybe Jerry Lawler. Later this year, I'd love to see Rhodes and Jericho have a feud over who the better Intercontinental Champion is/was. |

I guess...still seems like something they should have tried to build better. So if the match bombs, it bombs. I hope not, but it looks like it definitely could.

Would anyone rather Team Teddy Long v.s. Team Johnny Ace to open up WM instead of CM Punk/Jericho?

I would rather open with Orton/Kane. Open with Kane's pyro to grab everyone's attention or Orton's theme to get the monster pop. Either way, you've involved the audience right off the bat without having to resort to using the announcement of a title match to get the reaction.

Maybe they'll open with a 10 minute promo from The Rock.
On second thought, nah, that sounds like shit. They'd never do that. |

I was actually trying to observe what answer I would get from some of you. I'm actually considering coming up with a game where you guess the lineup...idk. Idea is in working progress.

If they go with that, that will completely change my view on it. Because I am willing to bet that this match won't last past 30 seconds with Big Show quickly taking the win and the IC strap. If they indeed go with a quick match like this, I can see them go second or third.

I saw on the front page they actually are considering Punk/Jericho going on first. I think if that happens will be a HUGE mistake.
I know they need to spread out the matches they are giving a lot of time to (Hell in a Cell, Punk/Jericho, Cena/Rock) but that's not smart to put them on first. I would go with either the 12 man tag or Orton/Kane going first. Third option would be Bryan/Sheamus but they put World Title on first last year and not sure if will do that 2 years in a row. |

2009 when Orton won the Rumble and was the last match but didn't win the title.
Before him, Batista in 2005 was the last time the Rumble winner was involved in the last match and won the title. Rey Mysterio the following year started the streak of Rumble winners not being the final match besides 2009. |

Just thought, Miz could end up in an impromptu match against Brodus Clay after complaining about not having a match.

Figured I'd put my thoughts on a few matches...
HIAC: Definitely the 'show stealer' for me. This match is going to be incredible, even though I feel as though this match has potential to be "overbooked" a bit. We'll see how it plays out, but I know those 3 will put on an amazing show and tell a great story. WWE Championship: Has 'classic' written all over it. I just hope they are given the right amount of time, and I also hope that the "CM Drunk" side plot doesn't take over the fact that it's "Best in the World" vs "Best in the World." The CM Drunk thing is good and all, and adds a new element to the feud, but that seems like a side plot that you would add to the rematch. Perhaps this match is a one-shot deal? Dunno, but I'm really looking forward to it. WHC: Would really like to see Bryan retain against Sheamus via shenanigans, and then drop the belt in a street fight at Extreme Rules. But, I have a feeling Sheamus is going over clean. I was really hoping that they would put the LeBelle Lock over a lot more than they have thus far. Having Sheamus tap at least once to the hold (in tag matches) would create a really good false finish for their Mania match with Sheamus finally being able to break out. Orton/Kane:Definitely random and thrown together, but they made good sense of Kane/Orton feud on SD! this past week. They both have good chemistry together, and are more than capable of putting on a solid undercard match together. Johnny/Long:Great way to get a lot of deserving and over talent onto the show. I expect either this match, or Sheamus/Bryan to open to get the crowd going. This is going to be an overall fun tag match with a lot of finishers happening throughout. |

Mr. C books WrestleMania:
In the opener, Kane faces off against Randy Orton. Kane dominates Orton and shows his brutality, but can’t hold the momentum long, and Orton begins to pick him apart. Kane gets frustrated and goes for the kill. Orton avoids it, capitalizes on one mistake, and strikes with the RKO. Orton wins and gets the crowd on their feet. Big Show makes his way out, followed by the Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes. Show thinks he has the win in the bag and panders to the crowd. Gets kicked in the head. Pinned. Hey, it’s Beth Phoenix and Eve vs. Kelly and Maria Menounos. Beth pins Maria and shows why she’s the best diva ever with a belt. Kharma comes out. Beth and Kharma have a staredown and then come to blows before Beth bails. World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan defeats Sheamus after reversing something into something. Chris Jericho vs. WWE Champion CM Punk. Punk puts Jericho to sleep. Punk wins. Best in the world. Dolph Ziggler gets the pin in the 12 Man Tag Team Match. John Laurinaitis gets control. Why? Because it’s way more interesting. Hell In A Cell. Undertaker Tombstones Triple-H. Triple-H kicks out. Undertaker is pissed. Grabs Shawn Michaels by the throat. Gets superkicked. Triple-H covers Undertaker. No count. Michaels says, “Not this way.” Triple-H attacks Michaels and goes for the Pedigree, but Undertaker grabs him and goes for the Tombstone. Triple-H escapes, and Michaels superkicks him. Undertaker covers. 1-2-3! John Cena defeats The Rock with the FU. They shake hands afterwards. |
