I wanted it to be revealed as Michael Tarver when they would show him backstage texting for no reason. It would have made zero sense since he was often in the ring when the GM would send e-mails during the Nexus angle, but dammit I wished they would have done something with him.
![]() As for Swog, I found it pretty dumb but it didn't really matter either way. |

The Anonymous GM was a device because they had no one to play the actual GM, remember. For it to be someone worth a damn, it would raise the question of why they didn't make their presence actually felt on the show.
John Laurinaitis would have made a tiny bit of sense, if he evolved as a character who liked to kiss Vince's ass behind the scenes and he used the anonymity to throw his weight around before he grew slightly larger balls and then did so in front of the camera, but they messed that up by not revealing it as soon as Laurinaitis was named GM. I personally would have made it Jack. Do you remember Jack? His career highlights on the alumni section of WWE.com could have read "General Manager of RAW; ex-boyfriend of Trish Stratus" |

Well, at least Hornswoggle wasn't "the bigger picture" Wade Barett was referring to.
They didn't resolve that on RAW 1000 or the lead up to it, either... got the hand-baby update, GTV being Okerlund, APA protection, and the Anonymous GM, and even a revisit of Trish/Hunter "it isn't how it looks" thing, but no "bigger picture". Quote:
