Hulk Hogan was one of the biggest weapons WCW had, and the reason why so many guys from the WWF jumped ship, so he shouldn't be to blame for WCW's death. He should be credited for WCW's success.

One thing that always annoyed me about WCW is their unopposed first hour on 3 Hr Nitros theyd run recaps & video packages. Sure it was to get viewers in case they missed it or whats going on but it was overkill, and then like the Push of the month squash and like a Van Hammer vs Prince Iaukea match!

Yeah the first hour was pretty much "what the nWo did to close the show last week," then they'd have a cruiserweight match where the commentators spent half the match talking about what the nWo did last week, then more recaps and some backstage shit, then a jobber match, then previews of what was coming up in the next two hours. Never bothered with the first hour.

Going through all these promo pics, it is amazing WCW survived as long as it did. Realistically, WCW was only on top for 3 years. It was shit before and shit after. Without Ted Turner's money it would have died before the nWo angle would have even started.

I think it is a great concept to use again since wrestling isn't as hot as it was when they stopped doing them and the PPV market is over-saturated. Making a free TV supercard would be awesome. Build it up on free TV and then use it as a launch program on WWE Network (if it ever happens).

I agree. That should've happened when Bret first came to WCW and used the fact that Hulk didn't want to drop the WWF title to Bret at SummerSlam, and instead dropped it back to Yokozuna at King Of The Ring before he left.
