They clearly don't want people's viewed obstructed by the crane camera and the equipment/workers that work on that side of the arena.

Also, according to some of the reports, the arena was half full and they taped off the camera side for Smackdown last week.

That's gotta fuck with the atmosphere being in an arena with one side completely empty which would just make more people not wanna go back.
