GSP hasnt had a legit stoppage sincethe second Serra fight, and that was in 2008.

1. GSP has beaten more than twice the amount of opponents in his weight class and as champion than bendo has.

2. GSP dominates people in his decisions. in both edgar fights, it could have gone either way with bendo and pretty much the same for melendez. GSP hasnt had a match like that since he first fought BJ penn.

It depends how exclusive a category you consider the word "elite" to describe.

He's not in the same tier as the likes of GSP, Jon Jones, etc, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's not "elite".

My elite list would have to be right now aldo, gsp, silva still, jones, and both cain and dosantos


Silva got caught being a dick. Before this, he would toy with people and dominate everyone he has faced. He came back and beat a man that was beating him for five rounds as well.

GSP for the obvious reasons

Same for jones

and aldo

Cain and dos santos have not had close matches with anyone other than eachother, and those matches with eachother werent close.
