LED Lights On A Pole Match
Winner gets to replace the LED light in their jacket or lantern with a super awesome purple LED light. |

I wish Tazz Dan would have told Jericho that his jacket can trigger epileptic seizures and he should wear something less flashy.

Jericho should come out in a vinyl jacket with black lights glued on it.

While I see the point you're making, and frankly, I kind of felt the same way when I heard about this, I still think it's a good idea. Jericho was the first Undisputed WWF Champion, he is a former WWE and World Heavyweight Champion, and holds the record for most IC Championship victories. He is a legend, regardless of his losses to Fandango, and a win over him will only help Wyatt, who needs it right now.
The question I pose back is, if not beating a Jericho or an RVD (both former World Champions and mainstays of the Attitude Era), who should Wyatt go on and beat? Who on the roster (besides the obvious like John Cena) would give him a bigger bump? I guess a win over Roman Reigns would be good, but he's not a proven guy yet either. Wins over upper mid-carders like Dolph Ziggler, Big E and Dean Ambrose aren't going to mean as much. I think the problem stems from an old problem in WWE - they have not elevated enough guys to main event status, so when they want to elevate a guy, he has to beat someone from the past who is already a main eventer. The cyclical nature of this problem could be resolved if they only put guys like Wyatt over guys like Cena. |
