I think Miz is ok, but I don't think he'll be any bigger than he already is, or was when he main-evented Wrestlemania back in 2011. I see Miz as being a poor man's Chris Jericho; which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I see Miz having a few more runs as an IC champ and/or a Tag team champ, with maybe a few 'main-event jobber' stretches a la Alberto Del Rios. Other than that though, I think The Miz has peaked. I see him continuing to be a mildly entertaining mid-card kind of guy. |

Pretty crazy how Morrison became the Jannetty of that team.

Morrison is still young enough to make a comeback, and so I don't think the Jannetty comparison is appropriate......yet......but Morrison really did screw himself when he acted like a bitch during that whole Morrison-Melina-Trish Stratus fiasco from a few Wrestlemania's ago. Also - it's not like The Miz has lit the world up either and so it's not like he's been the Shawn Michaels of that team either. |

He had a rough start coming in as a reality tv guy, rather than 'paying his dues' so many dislike him no matter what, even though he has clearly paid his dues by this point in his career. I find him entertaining, but only as a heel. I like his character.
What I think may help the Miz, is if he gets a good Mgr, someone old school, not Heyman, and the Mgr would be more of a teacher of sorts. I still love the idea of Ric Flair coaching him, but not to be a face, but as the new 'dirtiest player of the game.' Have Ric and Miz come out and scout his opponents from ringside, then when Miz faces them, he can focus on 1 body part only, such as Roman's right hand, to stop him from being able to use the Superman punch. Have Miz use any foreign objects on the hand, like a hammer, the ring bell, even just stomping it, all while Ric distracts the ref. Constantly having a good game plan to counter his opponents big moves would give him credibility and help him climb as more of a thinker, since he doesn't really have the size to match up with some of the big guys. Ok, well sorry to rant. Good thread. |

The Miz reminds me a lot of Nikky Chance. Both wrestlers have a similar history. Miz and Nikky both came into their feds being hated by the fans who saw them as "bad wrestlers" and "not belong" in wrestling. However working hard, Nikky just like Miz, improved by jumps and leaps theough the early days of his career to gain the actual respect of the fans.
I am a fan of both, "The King of Clubs" Nikky Chance and "Awesome" The Miz. |

I still don't feel he's got main event clout, but I've really been enjoying his character lately. He's definitely a great Hollywood heel.

Miz's legacy will always be his face. Very seldom in wrestling do you want to hit a guy or hate a guy due to his face. Miz took that and turned himself into one of the few legitimate heels of the Internet era. He wasn't a good face, and he wasn't a cool heel to cheer. He was a good heel in a time when it might be harder to be a heel that receives the traditional heel reaction. I like his work, and he is passionate and dedicated to the industry. That's all good in my book.

Morrison is still in his prime and choosing his shots. He could come back to WWE at anytime I beleive. Anyway, to the Miz. I'm so ... in the middle of the road. I really don't like him the majority of the time, but I must admit he is starting to grow on me lately. He is really good in the ring, though I really don't like his finish and a lot of his offense in general. But he is in good shape, he's a good performer who has the potential to be better, and he is a former Wrestlemania main eventer. For the credibility of that event alone I would push the Miz strong. |

I seriously hope Miz hangs it up ringwise if the WWE continues doing nothing of note with him, and he goes on to become an old school style manager. He could continue his "Hollywood" persona and start his client list with "Prince Pretty" and maybe someone who isn't getting decent TV exposure, like either half of (or both, but as singles competitors in a stable) Slator Gator.

The Miz suffering a "career-threatening injury" (in kayfabe) and becoming a heel manager would actually be really great.

I chose Awesome. With the right push, Miz can once again be a legit contender. Great as a heel on the mic, solid in the ring, has the look and accolades. Doesn't even need any repackaging, just needs a long, meaningful feud with a face that the crowd cares about.
