Eugene vs Coach was a humerous match. Still feel bad for Dinsmore for being stuck in this character that he will always be remembered for and it won't last for more than six months.
Benoit and Edge vs La Resistance wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. I was quite suprised when Trish won the Womens Title. I was certain that the botchfest would win. I was actually really impressed with Tomko. He did some cool moves and didn't mess up at any point. I was really dreading this match before because I thought that Tomko was going to be a usual hoss and just punch and kick and just be a brawler but he did some real good moves. Credit to him. Benoit vs Kane was enjoyable and once again I think Kane justified his place as a main eventer. Benoit was great too and showed why he is the best technical wrestler in the world. The HIAC was alright but nothing special. They have done better in the past. Now for my favourite match of the evening. I think Orton and Benjamin stole the show. The match was great and Orton continues to confirm his place as the man. Benjamin established his place as a strong midcarder and a future IC champ. To sum I thought that this was a decent PPV. There was nothing really horrible in the event and so I give it a seven out of ten. |
