Okay...I asked Nicely. but of course, most of you in here, have a problem listening...I said no Bitching....

Listen if you think Hogan or Stone Cold are the best Wrestlers ever, then more power to you, Hell if someone thinks JBL is the best wrestler today, hey, whatever, I'm a firm beleiver of if you like something, go with it. But I also hate it when someone tries to play off there opinions onto other people...Everyone has there own Preference...Me personally, I love Cruiserweight matches above all else, but that doesn't mean I don't like a good Technical Fest...Hell while I think they were shitty ass Wrestlers, I still mark out and are entertained when Hogan hulks up, Does the Finger Point, Big Boot, Legdrop, Or when Warrior shakes the ropes, Pumps up, Clothlines everything insight and proceeds to Press Slam and Splashes people...

Listin, if you think Hogan deserves a 10, I'm not going to complain with it. I might joke around casually about it, but other then that, I normally don't say anything about rankings unless I agree with them...

Like I said before, Everyone has there own Preference, if you asked 20 Wrestling Fans, from different areas, who they think are the best top 5 Wrestlers in history, you would proberly get atleast 40 different Wrestlers if not more....and remember there are people on theses boards from different regions, which most likely then not follow everything in the states, I mean, In American, people will say Hogan was the best, in Canada you would most likely hear most say Hart is the best, While in Japan, they might argue and say someone like Hayabusa, Jushin Lyger, Great Muta or Antonio Inoki are the best wrestler....

Of Course, there is the thing of different rating charts, and Perference...Some People base there own Archivements and Status, While Others do it based upon Pure Talent...and you even have thoses who look at Indy Wrestlers and think, and grade people like AJ Styles on Potential, As in, if they were given the chances like the Hogan, Lugers and Flair had, how would they do...We'll all different, and we are have different tastes...so let's stop the bitching about what people rate what....If you don't like how outcomes town out...Then go do your own thread...I Respect everyone decesion, which is why I count everyvote, even if I don't agree with half of them....Most Of us have accepted the overall grading of Wrestlers, so why don't you, if you can't do that, please Shut The Fuck Up and get the fuck outta here :foc: :foc: :foc: :foc: :foc: :foc:

Hulk F'n Hogan. What can be said that hasn't been said? The guy is a pompus ass. He abused steriods. He testified against the company that made him (and the company he helped make). He was/is the biggest politation ever, just look at that Wrestlemainia where everyone was in the togas. He wasn't even in the mainevent and got the World Title, baffling. He has held down more people that the Kliq ever could. He is doesn't know a wrist watch from a wrist lock.

So I give him a firm 10.

What can I say, he made wrestling what it is. For all his fault, those won't be remebered. What will be remeber are the birth of WWF, the birth of Wrestlemainia, the emergance of WCW, the nWo, the death of WCW. Almost all of the biggest events in wrestling's modern history he had a hand in. Even WWF's Attidude Era. If Hogan never pissed off Austin, Austin wouldn't have gone to ECW, and wouldn't have gone to WWF, and would never have become Stone Cold. For good or bad, Hogan played a role in every event in modern wrestling history.

So 10.

I'm so tempted to give him a 0. But I'll try and give the guy some credit, therefore I'll use Helmsphere's rating system.

Wrestling Ability: 7. He knows how to tell a story, but I've never really been a fan of the oldschool style.

Mic Skills: 5. I heard maybe one, two promos, so I can't really judge but they were okay and the crowd seem to go nuts and hang onto every word.

Overness: 10. He's pretty much a household name.

Finisher: 0. Pfft. Come on, it's a fricken leg drop. That is just as bad as the Worm and the People's Elbow.

Backstage: 4. Don't know anything factual but I heard that he was notorious for refusing to job to some wrestlers.

How I Like Them: 2. I think the only time I've ever reacted positively to Hulk is once when he did that 'YOU!!!' point and shake finger taunt.

Archivements: 10. If there was a totem pole for wrestling, he'll definitely be on it. He drew people to wrestling and he's considered a legend of wrestling.

That averages to 4.8. Hmm, I'll round it to a 5.

So yeah, final tally, 5.

Andre did manage to beat Hogan for the title... it's not as if Hogan held the guy down. By the time Andre received the belt, his health was deteriorating and his body could barely cope with the weight, so it's not as if he could do much with the belt anyway

I already know that not many people are going to agree with my view point, so I'm probably beating a dead horse here.

He didn't "beat" Hogan for the title. The work was a "screwjob" by a referee and Ted Dibiase where Andre just gave the title to Dibiase 30 seconds later. Hogan didn't job the title clean.

I realize that Andre couldn't do much with the belt because of his condition. That is why it could have been a really short title reign, maybe 30 days or whatever and then Hogan could take it back at a Wrestlemania. Just something significant to pay tribute to a guy who was such an icon in the business before the end of his career. If anyone should have held the title, even for a very short while, Andre the Giant was one of them. Hogan could have exhibited some more class and given that little bit to him at least.

Just something significant to pay tribute to a guy who was such an icon in the business before the end of his career. If anyone should have held the title, even for a very short while, Andre the Giant was one of them. Hogan could have exhibited some more class and given that little bit to him at least.
Im gonna assume back then that decision would be upto mcmahon and not hogan. Even if hogan had some say in it bottom line is mcmahon would have the final word in the decisions.
