That was the point of the Angle promo dude. To shock and scare you. And it did it's job well. Don't be pissing on what was one of Angle's better promos.

I tuned into SD! just to watch Eddie promo. Seriously... I read the spoilers and was like "this WILL be good."

Yeah, I wonder where in pro wrestling you will find a "family-oriented" show? Steve supported WCW, was faithful to them when they were having "viagra on a pole" matches and "kiss my ass" matches...But OMG!!!!!!11111 They said "sex" on TV!

I was simply trying to state that this angle IS the worst angle WWE has done since Katie Vick. They can easily be compared because they both are "sex-driven" angles. One was simply innuendo and a video we would all love to forget, but this has already gotten straight to the point. Whenever "perverted sex" are used in a promo you know its going to end horribly. The main thing that pisses me off about this is that their was no need to drag Booker T. and Kurt Angle to this level of a "shock-value" angle. Booker and Kurt could have a great rivalry without having Kurt wanting to fuck Sharmell in a "perverted" or "beastiality" kind of way.

Basically, Booker T. and Kurt Angle are WAY above this kind of bullshit tactic to bring in ratings (which I guarantee it won't). This is nowhere near as bad as Katie Vick but it is still pure shit.

That doesn't mean that they're comparing it line for line. There are many differences between the two, including targets, methodology, and the reults.

The Corperate Ministry? The "Cruifixion" of Austin? The whole X-Pac/Kane/Torrie thing? The Austin/Angle 2001 feud (remember what Austin was going to do to Angle that one night in which he was faking wanting to throw Angle into a river)? And that's to just name a few. There's been so many shocking angles that we can name while we are at it.

The concern is HOW they are doing this angle, not IF they are doing it. So far, it seems to be working out quite well. All that Kurt has said is something about perverted sex, and then provoking Booker into a trap by using Sharmell. I didn't see him try to rape her or anything just yet. This, in all due respect, is a point of judging the angle WAY too early to know if the angle is going in that direction. And remember, this is on SmackDown we're talking about, which is on UPN, which has been known to censor things on SD before (John Cena's earlier freestyles, the attack on Zach Gowen by Lesner). Whereas the Katie Vick thing was on TNN/Spike TV, a place where they could've gotten away with much worse than the Vick thing. UPN is still scared because of the FCC and their trigger-happy ways lately coupled with the ever-wary PTC. Don't think that UPN would allow something to slide if it was the Katie Vick distasteful-way.

It's also a fact he used it during the entire Attitude Era. What you're forgetting is that some of this "shock" sells. Katie Vick did not, though the promise of a dirty shocking secret.
