I also think it's funny that people think modding a console is a big deal and takes so long.

The friend of mine that modded his box bought 2 mod chips. Followed the instructions with them and soddered them on like they were supposed to be. That took about an hour, and then an hour to actually set it up once he got made sure it worked.

A lot of people on TPWW spend more than 2 hours a day posting here.

You aslo think people are agreeing with you when addressing second hand smoke.

Posting on TPWW won't get you banned from XBox live or prevent my PS2 from accessing DNAS.

I'd say there's a difference.

Not going to get any of them, it's just a waste of money. They're going to be around 200 - 300 dollars a pop, with sixty dollar games. Whereas I already have an Xbox and PS2, and I can get great games for twenty bucks now.

And the fact that I don't play many video games, or on a daily basis, would just be me wasting more money.

And modding something to copy music/videos/games, which can already be done on any solid computer, is even more pointless than spamming.

Let's see. 3 seconds to make a post while doing something else, or dedicating 2 hours to install something the companies are trying to shut down.

I've stuck with Nintendo, but I have a feeling that with the next generation, I'll finally be won over by Sony. With Nintendo's whole "simple game" philosophy, I've finally lost faith with the company.

Ultimately, it will all depend on how revolutionary Nintendo's next console will be, but I'm sure that I'm gonna have to get a PS3, so I'd expect to have both a PS3 and a Revolution. I'd say heck, the Revolution will be worth it just to be able to play the NES and SNES stuff.

Nintendo should aim to have all the old games free, and make some sort of arrangements with 3rd parties to have the entire back catalogue of games free. That would sell lots of consoles just for the nostalgia aspect, and it finally makes sense why they've gone out of their way to shut down rom sites over the last 5 years.

The Xbox 360 just doesn't seem impressive, it's more like an Xbox 1.5 and doesn't appear to deliver what I'd expect for the "next generation".
