Have you ever been on a talk radio show? Its all wierd, and then all of a sudden they are like "hey". But then I was just like:

"The guys we keep talking about getting, Burroughs, Randa, Boone, I don't know if thats all we need. Look at last year, we had Jose Offerman off the bench who was almost a .400 pinch hitter. This year we've got Mike Ryan, Matt LeCroy, just not the same kind of veteran leaders as in the past. Maybe we need to look in that direction as well"

It's so true. I went to a Nats game earlier in the year (a loss. Dan Kolb gave it away with two outs in the 9th ) and nobody cared. I mean ticket prices are low too. I got upper deck for 4 bucks.

Adam LaRoche does kick ass as well. I can't believe how he gets his swing around. But until he retires, I still want to see Julio Franco. He was the only reason people were cheering at that Braves game I went to.

We went to a Florida - Atlanta game on my senior trip ('03). I help up one of my friend's (girl) signs. It said "MARRY ME CHIPPER" I got put on the big screen and she didn't. Pretty funny.

Also, yeah, LaRoche is the man.

I have every Boone rookie card. Like, because that was the most mass-produced card of that year, right, but I thought it was great when I was younger, so for some reason he was my favorite non-twin.

Still. He's a Twin. This is like when Spree became a T-Wolve (before he broke my heart), or Sharper becoming a Viking. Crayzee.

Eh, what a shitty fucking series. I wasn't home this weekend, but the stat lines are just awful. Boone got hits in his last two games, I'm not too worried about his first two, but the rest of the team is still just shite. Joe Mays pitches seven innings allowing two runs, and you can't even beat DeVanon today? Come on. They had Shannon Stewart batting third also, WTF is that. The Twins are so fucked, unless we pick it up big time we will be handed another major treat if we somehow take the wildcard.
