Although, to be fair, this is a wrestling related message board (no matter what the Casual World Order wants to pretend) so having a knowledge of a lot of backstage news (I assume that 'gossip' comment is referencing the Montreal incident that you wreren't as well informed about as other posters) does actually mean that you bring more to the table in some discussions than others would.

Being well-informed is never a bad thing.

Destrol has one major flaw in his argument. You touch upon it well. We clearly knew more than him. I don't see why we should dumb the argument down to pander to thinks which we know (and have stated) to be false.

It's really pretty simple.

There's no point in treating an argument as valid when it's not.

If you want to be treated as an equal on an internet wrestling board, bring something to the table. If not, deal with the fact that offering some sort of information will put you on a higher level. Spreading rumours or randomly spewing shit will not. It's inherrent. There's no hierarchy to the "coolness" around here. People who offer news, discussion, or insight (Or something else) WILL always get more "respect" than those who don't. Don't like it? Fine. Don't care about respect on an internet forum? Also fine. But be aware that there are those with something to offer, and people who make comments worth considering. However, when something like the Montreal incident, which has been discussed ad nauseum comes up and someone tries to bring something which is notoriously not true/discounted/whatever, don't expect it to be treated as worth equal time.

right now eugene reminds me of a custom (Raw vs Smackdown) charecter... they built him with all the moves everyone else does (stunner, rock bottom) hell he even used the Pedigree.

i actually the way eugiene was emulating the stars of the past- why dont they push this aspect harder- every ppv eugiene comes out as a different star.. that would be fun to track
