The opening scene was great.
Also, the sex scenes were in there to highlight the change in their relationship. The first sex scene is loving and tender to show how perfect their relationship is, the second is angry and violent. The wife is both repulsed and turned on by his violence after his true nature is revealed. It's not just about this guy, but how the history of violence affects the way his family see him. They are vocally hostile, but their actions say differently. It's fairly simple, lads. |
