Regardless of what anyone says, the WWE is a company and with just like any other company, if you don't follow the rules...you pay the price. If Kid Kash knew about the rules and didn't follow it, then that's his fault. If he doesn't like the rules, then he can go back to TNA. And if he decides he hates TNA and the indy scene, then he can do something else for a living.

I agree with what most people are saying. It's a rule. You follow it. Not a hard thing to do. Kash is the one at fault. I don't personally care what these guys wear but as a company obviously having your workers dress in more of a professional manner makes perfect sense.

Especially once you factor in the fact that these are essentially business flights.

However, does the WWE pay for airfare? Because my addition to this argument is only really viable if the WWE is footing the bill. Just asking in the "interest of fairness."

Yes. Some rules suck. But they are fucking rules. And they are rules for a reason.

Let's put this into perspective before the mock Jeff Hardy body paint fumes start to get to your brain.

The WWE. A company that has been plagued by a stigma through the public eye of not being 'legit' and something pretty much exclusively for rednecks and retards. C'mon, it was derived from carnivals. That shit may have worked back in the day, but the public eye is far too critical at this point to be walking around looking like a bunch of slack-jawed yokels in front of people who don't know where you are.

I know you'd like to think "fuck what people think", but you have to understand that under all of the smoke and mirrors, World Wrestling Entertainment is a BUSINESS. The public is what matters.

AND IT'S NOT THAT MUCH OF A PAIN IN THE ASS TO WEAR A SUIT. Especially when you're going to be catching paychecks for thousands of fucking dollars. It is a very, VERY small sacrifice.

Um...this is just me talking...but I'm pretty sure that if I had a job thru which I could afford to wear a different suit every day, I'd be doin' it. I'm an egocentric show-off at heart anyway, and I look good regardless of what I'm wearing, so hell, why not look good...in a suit? Plus, it'd make me look like my career is a hundred times better than it really is. I'm not arguing for a RULE, per se. I'm just saying, I, personaly, would be all about that shit.

I think for a business in which they have asked people to act in character, asking people who play redneck, supernatural, and ghetto characters, this is a break of KAYFABE that would seem to be against the WWE's normal interests. I think this level of presentation is unnecessary for atheletes who run around in tights playing zombies hicks and retards.

I don't see what "looks better" has to do with it, other than a feeble attempt to find an argument you can actually win when your "legit" argument is questioned.

"Sadda, Hussein was a bad man."

"Yes, but sand is prone to being blown around by wind. I don't think even YOU could argue that."

So please, explain your point's relevance, and maybe it will be worth an argument. But really, whether or not a suit looks good has little to do with how much an effect it has on the legitimacy of a company or its workers, especially when they try and push "in character" behaviour for their campy cartoony characters at the same time.

They way you described the occupation right there is what I'm talking about. The public may see them as zombies, hicks, and retards.

Maybe it's just me, but it would appear that the WWE is making no bones about their product being fake any longer. They lost that war a long time ago. And if you look around at non-wrestling things where wrestlers appear, it would seem that they are trying to make their workers more presentable to the masses.

Suits have always been a sign of respect. That's exactly what I believe the WWE is looking for. Of course, there's no way for me to know this, but it makes perfect sense to have a dress code to me.

Hold on I'm not getting this He was given shit for not wearing a suit in a airport? I mean I could understand that's one of the rules but I thought that rule only applied when a wrestler was backstage or at a meeting or something. Now WWE can tell people what to wear in a fucking airport? I'm confused.

Because, in part, you are supposed to play your part even off the "stage." Remember recently where they even asked Nick Dinsmore to BE RETARDED in public, For that fixer chick to wear a bandaid over her cheek when in public, etc.? Every couple of years they renew this, and they're doing it and have done it recently.

Does a suit make Nick Dinsmore look any less retarded when he's running around the airport making airplane "wings" with his arms? Does it make him look any less retarded when he's hopping on a plane where he'll land and go to an arena where he acts retarded?

No. It won't dismiss or alter the image. Either you accept them as actors or not. Saying "don't Try This At Home" doesn't actually stop kids from imitating what they see on TV, slapping an "M" on a video game doesn't stop kids from getting them.

It's a superficial gesture to dismiss (By your logic) something which they encourage (By their own logic, by action, by fact). It's not going to work, and would certainly make a large portion of the roster look funnier than if Helms dressed up in his Hurri-suit for every flight.

Unless you had an attention span longer than five minutes.

And you still haven't explained why "looking better" equals legitimisation.

Do you respect Mike Tyson more because he wore a suit? Convicts dress in suits for court, and still get looked down on. Rapists, murderers, pedophiles--Not just bankers, Presidents, and CEOs. A suit has lost most of its status as a sign of power or respect, it's become a formality and little more.

On top of that, these are prformers who are asked to play retards, zombies, 900 lb love machines, super heroes, cowboys, rednecks, sociopaths...

...And then are asked to stay in character by the authority that you say is trying to create respect. What could logically apply both as true?

Of course not. Nobody wants to look stupid when confronted by logic.

Nah. It's just that you are incapable of seeing a possible different side, so what's the point?

Nice copout. What, was "I'm taking my ball and going home!" taken?

Especially ironic since I've been arguing both sides in this argument. That's not just making you look like you're copping out, it shows you up in this very argument since it's even more clear.

It's just funny you're not going to argue with someone playing "Devil's Advocate" to both sides because they can't see any argument other than theirs.
