Worst Rumble ever! The only good thing about it is that Edge has had his run and I no longer have to see him be the champion again.

Well when the surname of the booker is Rhodes, what did you expect? Really?

They may still stick with him, it could all change, I now understand why he didn't go over in the battle royal on Smackdown though, probably to test the waters and see what the reaction would be like

Yeah, mostly for the ending and the surprise entries being wack, I'd say this was one of the worst. Still, being there was fun and my sign is very much in that match. Plus, taking out the best guys the way they did... that wasn't right. So many people were pissed Booker left in a minute and we forgot Flair was even in it.

nope. Mine was a white TPWW.NET one, a black ANGLE IS GOD, and a red CENA SUX. I was behind the commentators. You'll see the TPWW one during the Rumble match for sure.

Jesus Fucking Christ, was I the only one that enjoyed the Rumble? I'm a mark for the Royal Rumble, I suppose, so I don't feel cheated out of $35. I feel it was well spent, because I always enjoy the Rumble.

Having Shane (a non-entrant) eliminate Shawn (an entrant) pissed me off, as did the Spirit Squad's entrance, interrupting Lilian. It kinda almost ruined it for me, having somebody ruin the telling-of-the-rules like that, for NO fucking reason.

But other than that, I enjoyed everything and was glad that I was right in predicting Rey's win.

So, why didn't Chavo dedicate it to Eddie, then he could have won.

This PPV was so predictable.

I mean, from Helms winning the belt
to Cena entrance, you don't go through all that for a guy to lose.

Rey "I dedicate to Eddie" and the whole looking up after getting his number.

The real question is, if Eddie didn't die, who would have won the Rumble?

Hmmm...Checklist...

Awesome Cruiser Match.
Slept through the Diva match.
Squash match.
Royal Rumble, solid.
The lesser of two evils regaining the title.
A shitty main event to cap the evening.

overall, I enjoyed it. The Rumble could have been better, and Kurt should have been facing someone else. I bought it for the Rumble, and I didn't go home unhappy.

What the shit is this Rey bollocks all about? Eddie died and I was sad about it, but give me a break. Making out that Eddie 'gave' Mysterio his shit number and Mysterio being the only one made out to still give a shit that Eddie is gone really annoyed me.

Also the fact that even though the guy is awesomely talented and everything, he still looks, acts and is over as a cruiserweight guy. It just doesn't seem credible to me to have him go for the title.

Yeah, and I was kinda annoyed at that time too.

The thing that saved that in terms of buildup was all the history they'd had with each other. Kurt and Rey have history, but it's basically one feud. They never had the epic rivalry and Rock and Austin had.

I was deeply disappointed although I can't say surprised at all that they had Tatanka but not The Rock there even though it was in Miami...probably Rock was busy in Hollywood or some BS, but I still think they should have found some minor way to fit him in...I didn't even hear him being mentioned as being in the crowd as I watched...but SHIT HAPPENS, and I guess I'll just move on *sigh*

Save it for NWO for Taker/Angle which more people would be interested in seeing, this whole thing was only thrown together at the last minute anyway, if Dave didn't get injured this whole thing would be turned on it's head, basically it was a filler because they knew they could use it there.
Well that strategy of yours they seemed to use certainly got the Rumble to sell out didn't it?

That's a good question, did not really think about that. My money would have been on Orton if that was the case.

On another note I was there live and noticed that a bunch of people left after the Cena vs Edge match. Hell I almost left, the thought of Henry main eventing one of the big four was repulsive. Glad i didn't as the Undertaker thing was pretty cool live.
