Its good because it ends with RVD winning the title but from my perspective it could use some Sabinizing

Yes, but it doesn't mean that I (and a number of other people) want to see it

Flair is one of the all time greats in the business and deserves it, but I think there is a signifcant amount of people that would lose interest if he became champion because he's too old to make it believable. Yes the belt does need someone to carry it and make it seem important and Flair is that guy.. 20 years ago

I could go either way to be honest. Never having been a fan of Flair myself, coupled with the fact that as you all have beaten to death "he's 'old'", I don't have any strong desire to see him with the title...

but if he held it and had a run, I wouldn't be disappointed, and I think if they let him hold it for at least a few months, it could be a pretty big boost in someone's career to take the title off Flair, EVEN THOUGH HE'S OLD. You have to remember, when watching a wrestling show, it's easy for a promotion to use only what facts make things seem good, and as a fan, IF you do just a little bit of work as far as letting yourself get into the show, OR if you're a relatively new fan, it's easy only to think about the story at hand, if the announcers and such do a good enough job.

If Flair does get the title, who do you honestly think is going to get the title shot and win off of him? It's going to be Hunter, just so he can say that he's beaten Flair for the title.

Don't believe me? Watch if/when he wins. It's the only thing, even a year from now, that will make sense from a LONG-TERM storyline standpoint. The classic "they were friends, then they were enemies, now they're going to finish it all" storyline.

Anyone who did was a dumbass.

Hogan should NOT have gone face so quickly in 2002, NOR should he have been even been anywhere near the title picture. That's one of the lowest points WWE hit since 2000...

So the only way a title change makes sense is if the champion and challenger have a three year plus history?
