Nah, its all good. Ferig looks like he can carry himself in the ring and, as WWKD has already said, he's not a vampire as such so its not nearly a cringe-worthy. All it needs now is a bit of Heyman spin and realism and we'll have a star on our hands.

As I said, the Zombie was intended as farce. You can keep repeating that it was a farce, but that's understood. What you don't seem to understand is that explaining that doesn't make it any less ironic, the point is only really ironic because of that.

So you can repeat it again if you want, but all you're really proving is that the answer to "do you see where I'm going with this?" Was no.

You see, this is part of what makes it ironic.

They play up one gimmicky character as a farce, and play up another as having a home. They take a string of these guys and mock them for having no place in eCW.
